“Carmel was one of my favourite dining experiences in Marrakech. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm and attentive, and the beautiful outdoor seating made it the perfect place to unwind after exploring the city. The menu offers a unique blend of Italian and Moroccan flavours, making it easy to find something for everyone. The food was fresh, flavourful, and thoughtfully prepared. The pizza was a standout for me, with its rich and creamy flavours, while the chicken with mushroom sauce was incredibly tender and packed with flavour. The pesto pasta was also a great choice and didn't disappoint. Whether you're looking for a relaxed lunch, a cozy dinner, or simply a beautiful spot to enjoy a meal, Carmel is definitely worth adding to your Marrakech itinerary. Plus, everything is halal. Thank you to Carmel for having us.”
Just had dinner here and all I can say is top notch. Ismail served us - was so attentive, so courteous, so professional.... All I can say it was beyond fantastic. The food was soooooo good. Their pizzas are amazing. Tajin are amazing. And their crepe are mmmmmmm delicious.... Can't wait to come back.
“After visiting Jardin Majorelle, we looked for somewhere near to eat and Carmel is on top of the list. It was a good decision as their food is very affordable and satisfying compared to other top rated restaurants. Aside from that, the ambiance and service is top notch. Our server, Said, is very polite and helpful and was able to explain to us clearly the food that we are not familiar with.”
“I’ve been encountering this odd thing with crepes and Nutella across Morocco now where the chocolate used doesn’t taste like the Nutella from the jar at all. I really wanted Nutella so I thought to take my crepe back just ask why this crepe tastes like watered down chocolate and not Nutella? Everyone who worked there was so nice trying to understand me 😬. The manager came from the back to explain: the Nutella is mixed with oil and butter to make it squeezable for cooking with the crepes. And that he would make me a crepe with just the straight Nutella from the jar. It was honestly so nice and tasted really good!! It’s the same Nutella just different for restaurants this way. If I lived here I would come back here for crepes and the vibe. People were doing work on the computers. It was a nice vibe. Variety menu and very clean place.”
“We had a wonderful time at Café Carmel. The atmosphere was amazing, the food and coffee were delicious, and everything was perfect. A special thanks to our waiter Abdel Qadir, who gave us outstanding service, he was very friendly, attentive, and professional throughout our visit. He truly made our experience even better. Highly recommended!”
“Very delicious and affordable. I payed 40 dh for one breakfast with omelette, cappuccino and orange juice. This is the only good cappuccino that I drunk in Marrakech”
