“We had the privilege of visiting this wonderful Restaurant and Bar after being in Morcco for over a month, and was a highlight of our trip. With an open view Kitchen above you know the Chef is there to impress. We were warmly welcomed by the bartender/waitress (Selma I believe, though the receipt said Cassie so maybe the cocktails were strong🙂). She is a great server and a wonderful human being (after chatting with her a bit). Cocktails were made well, and set us up for great appetizers (sashimi sea bass and scallops were excellent) and the entrée of lamb confit was as good as you get anywhere in the world. As its a bistro so its atmosphere is chill and almost bar like, which adds to effect when they serve up high end food. We were so happy we passed on going to the popular restaurant in the Medina in favor of a place on a street in the local area of Marrakesh with a passion for food.”
Located on a busy noisy dusty road I headed inside only to be greeted by strong smell of tobacco. People were smoking everywhere, was about to walk out when I was greeted in a friendly way and I decided to take a chance. Opted to sit outside on the “forgotten terrace”. The pollution from the road was overwhelming but I had already got the menu and I was hungry. No lights no atmosphere no life. It was sad situation. The menu was in French and the specials board in English and French, lucky they have a QR code with English menu. The prawn citrus salad was missing the citrus, it was good but few pieces of orange at the bottom of the bowl with some juices. The beef bourguignon was tasty, I liked a lot. The decor of the place is old and need of refurbishment, it’s more a bar for drinking beer and smoking, with loud music. Pity really because the food is good. French toast was okay. Prices were reasonable. At the end of my meal they brought candles in an attempt to create an atmosphere, sadly too late for me

“Nice place to watch football games, have a drink and eat delicious food.”
“We came on a weekday night for something small to eat. Our choice was two plates of tapas to share; grilled prawns and a combined meat and cheese platter. With them we had a nice local red wine. Both the food and wine were very good, and the service attentive and kind. There were only a few other guests except us, so we had a nice quiet meal.”
“Food was good, set menu good value but unfortunately we were the only diners so was lacking in atmosphere Also draft beer tap wasnt working and a couple of items on the menu were out”
“Great night, we only wanted small bites and got a great cheese/chacuterie board, washed down with a lovely Cotes du Rhone red. Liverpool v PSG on TV was a bonus.”
