“We stayed at the Timnay for one night in late April 2026 on a motorcycle trip round Atlas. It's kind of laid out as a motel with easy access from parking to room. Which was very practical for us. Staff was friendly and the pool was cool but clean. Great breakfast buffet. We would stay there again. Especially as part of a road trip.”
“Small, cozy riad that we stopped at on the way to the sahara. Has 8 bedrooms in the building, 4 upstairs and 4 downstairs. Each with a queen and a twin in one room and a living room area. Everything was pretty clean and beds very mostly comfy. Pillows were a bit hard but might be considered perfect for some. Showers could be scalding hot~hard to get a middle ground. Theres a dining hall that serves a continental breakfast and dinner with a lot of tagine types including goat. Chicken tagine was dry according to several in the group but my goat meat was falling right off the bone soft. Place isn’t luxurious but its a nice, convenient place to stay at~Staff seemed friendly.”
“TOTAL NIGHTMARE! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!|Upon arrival, an older man charged our credit card TWICE and sold us pool tickets, assuring us the pool was open until 8 PM. When we went there, another staff member told us it was closed for cleaning and would open in an hour. An hour later, they changed the story and said it would only open the next day. Since we were leaving the campsite the next morning, we asked the older man for a refund for the pool and the double charge. He flat out refused to give our money back!|On top of being scammers, the place is incredibly filthy. My husband got severely sick and was vomiting terribly, and my son got bitten so badly by something in this dirty place that we had to go to the hospital! This place is dangerous, dirty, and run by thieves. Ruined our vacation completely!”
“Ideally as a stop in between long drives. Rooms are clean, food is great. Not luxurious , but more than sufficient. But I believe the rooster is broken since it started crowing at 3am until the morning 😅🐔”
“The riads are spacious and well kept with excellent heating. The restaurant has a good selection of meals and attentive service. There is a short trail nearby to visit the nature reserve which I thoroughly recommend, it's quiet and beautiful at midday.”
“This place was just a pit stop along the two week journey and I only stayed one night. I suggest that’s all you do as well. |The room was average but large enough. Had a seating area, queen bed and a twin bed. |Very clean and the staff were very friendly. |The pool was nice but wasn’t the best season for swimming. It was nice to lounge by it tho and catch some rays. Dinner was communal and my chicken tajine was average. My waiter was top notch! |The bed was hard but that seems the be the gold standard in Morocco. I was very cold trying to sleep even tho I was supplied extra blankets. They were very heavy and I’d rather had a heater in the room. I didn’t ask for it as I didn’t realize I needed it until very late. ||The shower was hot 🥵!! Not a lot of pressure but hot. Not a lot of light in the bathroom and no outlet to do my hair. I did find one over the toilet wayyyyy up high but it didn’t work. ||For one night it’s worth staying.”
