“We booked 3 suites in this Riad. We were traveling from Fez to Merzouga and needed a place for one night because of the distance. This Riad has a big clean pool and an nice green setting with trees so you can sit in the shade. As soon as the sun goes down the temperature drops so in the evening you need a sweater or so. It is to cold in september to eat outside. The suites were very spacious and clean. A seperate sitting-room and sleepingroom. Since there is nothing else close-by we het dinner in the restaurant. This was moderate. They serve alcohol.||They also have about 5 spaces for people who travel with mobile-home, surrounded by big trees. The next morning we had to pay cash since the creditcardmachine did not work. Considiring the price (65 euro per night for a suite) we found this a good place to stop for one night”
“Nice pool though lots of kids playing so not very peaceful. Also lacks seating. Food was nice. Staff was nice. Rooms were lovely. I went here with an Intrepid tour and it was one of the better accommodations. WiFi is ok.”
“Had a nice stay! Staff were very welcoming. It was winter and a little cold so they served dinner beside a big fire! Thanks again to everyone there.”
“Taking groups regularly to Morocco, this is an ideal spot en-route on the way south or before crossing the High Atlas. I have visited very many times.||Progressively developed over many years, there is now varied accommodation from camping to a very handsome riad.||The cooking is delightful with good traditional variety at excellent value; alcohol is available. A super traditional breakfast will give a good start to the day.||What is less known is that the owner is a highly qualified academic who - returning home - is actively engaged in conservation and scholarship. There is much more here than meets the eye and I regard the place as a home from home with good friends.||Nearby, Zaida is a super little town; Midelt, down the other way is not my favourite place!||I look forward to returning.”
“This place is in the middle of nowhere. It is a great place to stay at while travelling from Chefchouen to Midelt. The dinner and breakfast and serices in the restaurant were the best I had in all of Morroco and we had eaten at about 20 different locations. IOne advice I would give is make sure you turn on the heat if travelling in October as it was a bit cold in the room as I had forgotten to turn on the heat when I went for dinner. Vey popular place.”
“We stopped off after a long day of driving. Food and facilities were great. I ate the fish which was very good and the traditional soup for a starter. The pool looked super tempting however we were only stopping for lunch.”
