“Large reception area. Stayed 1 night with the tour group. The bed had hairs so obviously wasn't cleaned. We were moved to another room which was nice of them but the bed in the other room also had hairs. Asked for bedsheets and pillow cases and we changed them ourselves. The room smelled of stale air, definitely needed the a/c on for the air to circulate. The hand held shower hook was broken so the shower head was just hanging over the controls. When you sit on the toilet, the cover closes on your back. We sat down for dinner and our friends opener a bottle of water that they brought. The waiter ran over and said no, they can't and he point to the camera and said camera. If bringing your own water is against the policy, then they should have posted a sign at the door stating that. Breakfast was good in that there were quite some varieties of pastries, not much for protein. A Carrefour supermarket is around the corner from the hotel.”
“Had a wonderful stay at La Perle Du Sud. Big thanks to the reception team, especially Mr Ali and the lovely lady at the front desk for their warm welcome and professionalism. Also, a special mention to the baggage team, Brahim and Aziz — very helpful and always with a smile. Honestly, all the staff were amazing. They really make you feel like you’re at home. Highly recommended!”
“Hotel is situated on a busy road, so quite noisy until late, also you can hear the lift huffing and puffing. Room is adequate size, bath/shower has difficult entry for short people due to high bath height and limited entrance gap. The towels were a sandy shade of white, with a tatty partially holed bath mat. It has a fridge, safe, but no kettle or water are provided. TV had no English channels, air con was broken and good WI-FI. Food in the evening was tasty, with a reasonable amount of choice, less impressive breakfast. There is a Carrefour a few minutes walk, if you turn left out of the hotel. Didn’t have chance to try the pool. I believe the daily rate is about £60 , which was booked by our travel company.”
“Hotel was in need of serious renovations ...furniture was very old and in poor condition. Several items missing in room...hair dryer, bathroom floor mat, insufficient bath and hand towels.|Buffet food at breakfast and dinner were mediocre as was the case at all our Exotica Tours hotels....under supplied in quantity, cold serving trays with dried out chicken , poor vegetable and salad and bread selection but decent desserts.”
“Really nice hotel. Nice atmosphere and staff are all really friendly and hospitable. The pool area is nice and it has a small bar to chat with friends.”
“Our room was great but it was next to the elevator pump. It was the best shower we've had in ou 8 days here so far. The food was good.|But when we tried to exchange our money they wanted 15%. ATMs are cheaper.”
