“nice chicken pastilla and moroccan salad, the harira was reasonably unimpressive though. overall good prices and great location, especially the inside garden”
“I went there for a solo date, the atmosphere was good, and calm, with a bit of music on the background. The service was super, the staff were very nice, polite and always smiling. I didn't get much honestly, I only had a juice, but it was very tasty, you could tell that it wasmade of fresh fruits. I would definitely go back to this place!”
“well. the food was great, though why would anyone stick on a plate: rice, french fries and then give you also some bread, I have no idea. Still we were positively surprised by the taste of everything and the juiciness of chicken in particular since its dryness followed us around in Marroco. The only thing is the astonishingly unhurried approach of the waiters to... well, everything and the size of the tables outside - a party of three or more should sit there only for drinks or appetizers - anything more is a test in logistic thinking. Still... a good place to chill out with good food or a perfect cup of Moroccan tea.”
“A lovely quaint place on the outskirts of the Medina with beautiful architecture and atmosphere. It's a cafe on the outside and a restaurant inside. The food was presented really well, and the food was lovely. I found the pastilla to be really sweet and couldn't eat it. The tagines were lovely but lacked seasoning. The cost was decent and fitted our party of 7 comfortably.”
“This was a really nice place. We sat in the outside courtyard and it was very isolated from the chaos of the city outside. It looked clean and the service was nice. We made friends with the resident turtle that apparently lives in the landscaping around the courtyard. The food was good and the prices were reasonable. This place is a nice respite from the city.”
“As I invited my visiting friends from UK to eat out here, we had some disappointment. I visit this place in the last two years many times and sadly seeing it deteriorating is heartbreaking. The food used to be top notch for almost the same price as today... Firstly, half of the menu was not available at 6pm for dinner. Regardless we had some starters as usual like the Moroccan salad, zaalouk and taktouka. Non of them was pleasant. Taktouka was straight from the fridge cold as the zaalouk and the taste of cheap tomato puree was evident. For some time now the food quality is definitely dropping, but not as sharp like this! Last night the food I had was sad. I ordered as usual the vegetable tagine after and harira soup. The soup was acceptable but that tagine... I should have taken a picture tbh. They steamed/boiled the veg and put it in a tagine pot. No chermoula, no sauce... A drizzle of olive oil and couple of olives on top. Bland, sad tasting boiled veg for 55DH. I do not think this place is worth visiting anymore...”
