“I never leave reviews as I’m just so lazy to do so but I will do it right and make this my first because if there was a reason to come back to Rabat, it would be for this place! No frills, hella cheap, fresh food, just what you need after trekking a whole day in the city to find something satiating during Ramadan. Quietly tucked in a courtyard, you would almost miss it if it wasn’t for the A-frame menu they put out. We were the only customer eating around noon and sat outdoors as the lights for the indoor seating were turned off. Usually this would put me off, as establishments that do this often send out cold unreliable dishes. But the hospitality and cleanliness (toilets too) were unmatched despite them probably expecting to serve no customers during this season. I ordered the nicoise salad, chicken tajine, meatball tajine and coffee. Then another nicoise salad at the end of my meal because I was just so impressed by the value I’m getting (HUGE, fresh portions) and even got them to swap out the pasta for more vege the second time. - Double portions of warm bread too: Having had many local meals during my time in Rabat which means many free breads, you can just tell everything down to the bread was made thoughtfully (I swear it sounds like I’m exaggerating at this point but truly, bang for your buck) - Nicoise salad 35MAD: Picture doesn’t do it justice. Don’t be fooled it’s not a small salad plate, this could’ve easily been a main. Fresh and cold, just what you need on a sunny day. - Chicken tajine 50MAD: Fresh hot fries, succulent chicken that just falls off the bone. - Meatball tajine 50MAD: Meatballs on the smaller side I’ll say but with everything else? Heck the warm bread with the sauce will keep me satiated. - Coffee: Proper brew. Didn’t taste acidic. Excellent strength. I can see that they made an effort to upload the Ramadan menu a few days ago but as with every other establishment I’ve attempted to eat at during Ramadan, the hours online aren’t reliable. I’m not too sure if they’re consistent but please do visit. The two men who served us were super kind too. I hope they get all the business in the area but I also hope to gatekeep this place! Goated. Bravo!

“One of the coziest cafes and places in Rabat! Highly recommended. Good breakfasts, pretty cozy calm terrace and kind service. Enjoyed!!!”
“Excellent place for breakfast in the heart of Rabat. We had the Mediterranean and Espagniloe omelettes and ever thing was hot and fresh. The breakfast meal included tea and fresh orange juice”
“It's a quaint little restaurant. Very relaxed atmosphere. It was nice to get away from the busy street and sidewalk. The waiter was quick and polite. The food was very hot and delicious. Very reasonable prices for the quality and amount of food you get. I will definitely remember this place for another visit.”
“Our first visit to this cafe. The food was excellent as was the service. Also enjoyed the large fan in the corner as we find most restaurants too warm . Quiet cozy and nearby”
“One of my favorite spots in Rabat Calmand peaceful right in the middle of the busy downtown The service is friendly”
