“We had an absolutely wonderful lunch here! The food was incredibly delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented, but what truly made our evening special was the outstanding service. Our server, Ikram, was phenomenal. From the moment we sat down, Ikram was welcoming, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality these days. We will definitely be back, and we’ll be asking to sit in Ikram’s section! Highly recommend!”
“It was an amazing experience. It’s my first time ever trying Indian food and I’m not regretting coming to Clay Oven Restaurant. I am feeling very appreciated and welcomed here. The staff are so lovely especially the sweet girl “Ikrame”, the food was recommended by her and it was really good. Definitely not gonna be the last time. ❤️❤️
“I had a really pleasant experience at Clay oven, the food was flavorful and the staff was really friendly! The menu is varied without it being overwhelming and the descriptions under each food item were really helpful. The restaurant was slightly warmer and there was this constant fan noise that was slightly annoying, I'm guessing that's because the restaurant isn't properly ventilated and the fan was there to extract cooking odors from the restaurant, but never the less it was distracting. Overall, I enjoyed my meal and the experience (I recommend getting icecream after the meal to cool down your tongue haha)”
“Really enjoyed our experience here. A welcome change from tagine 🤣. The food was very, very good. The service and staff were brilliant. The atmosphere was lovely but we were the only table in (early dinner) so very quiet. Reasonably priced for quality and portion size of food.”
“We visited Clay Oven on January 30th. The food was actually quite good and clearly prepared with care — the flavors were enjoyable and the menu has some appealing options. Unfortunately, the overall experience didn’t quite live up to the quality of the food. The restaurant feels quite dated in both décor and general atmosphere, which already sets expectations a bit lower. It was also surprising to see that Christmas decorations — including the tree — were still up at the end of January. What really impacted the visit was noticing a small cockroach on our table during the meal. While these things can happen, it’s difficult to ignore and it understandably raised concerns about cleanliness. Service was acceptable but not particularly memorable. With some updating and greater attention to hygiene, Clay Oven could be much better. As it stands, it’s an average experience overall.”
“Great Food and service. Fair prices - all round great experience and great location. Would 100% recommend.”
