“The restaurant is well worth to dine here, great dishes! All great except no air conditioning. Downstairs piano bar has air con and two sessions - 7:30pm to 10pm with live jazz; 10-12:00 midnight DJ set. The jazz solo singer/ pianist/ guitarist is a great entertainer! Very atmospheric!”

“i stumbled on this place because it was near my airbnb and i wanted to have dinner asap. i ordered a cocktail and this nice calamari in a bed of vegetables with special sauce. everything was so tasty and delicious! enjoyed my dinner here, and i took my time. the best part of this restaurant are their kind and accommodating waiters. they really ensured you get everything you need.”

“El Morocco club is an upscale venue in Tangier, easily located. You can either have a drink under the trees, on the main façade of the establishment, or book a table in the restaurant for lunch or dinner, or book a place at the piano bar. There are, therefore, three ways to appreciate this place. It has a menu of excellent alcoholic beverages, from wines, cocktails, beers and a selected dishes. The presentation of the dishes is beautiful, and they are very well served. I drank a glass of white wine and ordered a saffron risotto with prawns. My God, it was the best risotto I've eaten in my life! The staff are very kind, and at the end I was awarded a spectacular chocolate truffle. I highly recommend this place, and I add that it is necessary to make a reservation. Success to you all ✨”

“Some places make an impression because they are new. Others because they remind you that not everything worth preserving has to be reinvented. Walking into Morocco Club felt a little like stepping into the Tangier I had read about for years. The building itself, with its distinctive Tangier architecture, sits quietly on a street shaded by a large tree, as if it has always been there waiting for the right people to find it. Inside, the atmosphere carries traces of another era. The photographs on the walls, the piano bar, the proportions of the rooms—nothing feels staged. Instead, it feels lived in, as though the stories of the city’s international years still linger somewhere in the background. What struck me most, though, was the crowd. Not fashionable in the obvious sense, and certainly not trying to impress. Just an effortlessly international mix of Moroccans, British, French, Americans and others, moving easily between languages and conversations. The kind of place that attracts people with connections to different corners of the world, yet somehow remains completely unpretentious. We were served dinner in the piano bar and were told there would be a DJ later that evening. We thought little of it at the time. But after dinner, the music gradually grew louder, the room came alive, and the entire atmosphere transformed. What had begun as an elegant evening suddenly became something far more memorable. It was unexpected, natural, and probably one of the best nights we had in Tangier. The best places don’t just show you a city. For a few hours, they make you feel part of its story.”
