“I arrived 30 minutes late and completely understand that this may have caused inconvenience. However, the manager addressed me with a very disrespectful attitude that truly ruined my experience. We come to places like this to relax and feel cared for, but unfortunately, I left feeling upset. The manager with dark black hair lacked basic professionalism and courtesy, which is far from what one would expect from a so-called luxurious salon.”

“Avoid this place if you can. I was initially impressed. The salon is beautiful and very clean. The quality of service isn’t the best, but acceptable when you’re in a hurry. I’ve only been to Bloom twice, and both times were pleasant until my most recent attempt to book a simple manicure and pedicure. After confirming a time, a moment later, Out of nowhere, I received strange, rude, and accusatory messages claiming that I frequently cancel or reschedule appointments, even though I’ve only rescheduled once, in advance, due to work. I was also bizarrely accused of bringing four people, which has never happened. The clientele here seems to lean toward the flashy, nouveau-riche type, more show than sophistication so I wasn’t entirely surprised by the lack of basic courtesy. Communication in English is limited, which as an American can make things frustrating, but that’s understandable as it’s not the main language in Morocco. What isn’t understandable is being blamed and talked down to as a paying client. When I confronted the owner about the treatment, instead of any accountability or willingness to improve, I was told I was in the wrong. Sadly, that kind of response feels common in Tangier, rather than simply admitting that conditions could be better or promising to do better next time, businesses often gaslight the client and turn the blame around here. There are better salons in the city.”
