“We were greeted right away by multiple staff members, one of which turned out to be our server (his name was Amine), and our group of 8 was seated and served with water within 5 minutes of entering the restaurant. They had a QR code for an English menu but our group decided to Facetime one of our Moroccan friends and get hand-selected recommendations from him. While getting recommendations, we said “yes” (via thumbs-up and a “ee-ya”) to Aname’s request to start us off with Moroccan salads. In addition to 6 pieces of bread that were larger than dinner plates, we were served three large mixed salads (each featured a small amount of lettuce with sizeable amounts of potato salad, orzo, tuna fish, shredded cabbage, tomatoes, cucumbers, and onion; each salad was then garnished with papaya, pickle, sweet peppers and topped with a creamy white sauce. We were also served three platters that featured four traditional Moroccan spreads. That in-and-of-itself was more than reasonable to be considered a typical American-sized lunch (in terms of quantity) but we wanted to try some “barbecue” as well so we ended up ordering an additional 6 skewers of barbecued beef, 6 skewers of sausage, and 6 skewers of hearts (which ended up being the favorite of the table!). Each set of skewers came with a side of French Fries as well so we had plenty of food for a group of 8. We were served fresh Moroccan tea during the meal and our servers both took the time to try to make our experience as memorable and enjoyable as possible! The food was excellent (the salad stole the show) and the service was also amazing! The cost was also below what we were expecting for all 8 of us to have such an incredible meal (~10$USD/per person including tip). 10/10 would come back if I’m ever back in the area!”
