“I came across this beautiful carpet and textile shop in the Medina of Tetouan and had such a lovely experience. They offer a stunning selection of handmade pieces, from sheep wool and camel hair to unique cactus silk carpets, all crafted with incredible detail. What truly made it special was the hospitality. The team was so kind and generous, welcoming me with mint tea and local cookies and taking the time to explain everything without any pressure. You can really feel the care and pride they have in their work. A genuine, memorable experience. I highly recommend stopping by if you’re in Tetouan 🤍”
“I recently visited Tetouan for the first time from the United States. While walking around the Medina I stumbled across this shop. They welcomed me in with open arms as if I were a part of their family. Along with their kindness they offer beautiful tradition Moroccan items that are unlike anything I have seen before. Words cannot explain how much I enjoyed my experience here. Stumbling by this shop was an unforgettable experience.”
“My family and I would like to thank the 3 brothers Mohammad, Ali and Adnan for really taking good care of us. For 2 days we visited their shop and bought local souvenirs and rugs. It was incredible experience with amazing hospitality. They also made us feel comfortable. We would also like to thank Mr Mustafa, a 70 year old man who introduced us to this incredible family. This man can speak multiple languages, honest and an integrity driven man. They were warm, affectionate, showered us with a lot of freebies (literally a family looking after their own).. So whoever is heading off to Tetouan, please visit them, they provide you competitive and the best prices in Morocco.”
“Great guys and really special place to shop in the medina in Tetouan! The place is a welcoming, clean, and relaxed, where you can feel free to walk around, touch things, and even not buy anything at all! I was looking for a relatively cheap (max 15 dollars) gift for a Secret-Santa type event in Spain ("amigos invisibles", they call it) , and they helped me find some perfect handmade leather sandals. I loved looking at the wool rugs and other colorful handmade things, but they helped me buy exactly what I was looking for. Later, I passed by before going on a bicycle trip from Tetouan to Fes, and they gave me a wool blanket to make sure I would have enough to keep me warm in the cool nights (in February). I went on my trip and the blanket was warm, and some Moroccan friends commented on how I had a real "original, handmade" blanket!! Of course I bought the blanket in the end for a fair price, but I know 100% that these guys would give you the shirts off of their backs every day if they weren't all working hard to make a living in Morocco's tough economy with razor thin margins! Also so cool how these guys have barely travelled outside of Morocco but can defend themselves (as they say in Spanish), in 6-7 languages, and have a totally instinctual understanding of how to communicate with people from all over the world. Really cool!!”
“Amazing store in the middle of the beautiful old medina of Tetouan. The stores are a family business run by three brothers who make you feel welcome and at ease. They are happy to show you around even if you don't buy anything. Amazing carpets, leather and a lot more. Go take a look! And if you go, send Ali, Adnan and Mohamed my love🫶🏼 Oh and if you want to buy one of those amazing carpets but you can't take it with you: they also ship it to your home.”
“Really great shop owners here. They welcomed us into the shop to look around and take pictures despite us assuring them we couldn’t buy anything as we were backpacking many days ahead. The carpets were beautiful and felt of really high quality. They had thousands and we would’ve liked to purchase something. Overall we came for the carpets, but stayed for the vibes and a chat since they were such nice people. They spoke Arabic, French, English, German, & Spanish.”
