“One of the most beautiful places I've seen in the Chefchaouen area, but the worst service I've ever experienced in my life. We walked in, sat down, and sat for ten full minutes with no menu. I had to get up and fetch one myself. Ordered breakfast, then waited another twenty-five minutes with zero water, zero acknowledgment, nothing. Meanwhile, the French table next to us got perfect service. It honestly felt racist, and I never want to come back. I won't suggest this place to any local Moroccans either—this spot clearly only cares about tourists.”

“I contacted the manager of this hotel on August 7 to organize a 5-night stay from September 15 to 20, 2025 for our group of 4 people. I must admit that the lady gave me all the necessary information and when I explained my choices for the rooms, she sent me some stunning pictures. As September approached, on August 26 to be exact, I had to transfer the cost of one night's stay to secure the two rooms I had reserved. We arrived at the hotel on September 15 around 7:30 p.m., maybe 8 p.m. The gentleman at the front desk wanted to give us two rooms that were not next to each other. So, I explained that we wanted rooms close to each other, and that's how it was. These rooms looked all but not like the pictures I received. Very disappointed. The guy at the reception told us that the hotel is full. As soon as we went to bed to have rest after a long day, the bites started. We closed all the windows to keep the mosquitoes out. It didn't stop all night. By the time dawn broke, I had slept maybe two hours. After waking up, my wife and I went looking for these creatures. To our great surprise, what we found were bed bugs! Yes, I caught two or three and took them to the man at the front desk. He didn't offer any explanation or comment and suggested we change rooms. It was too late; the bugs had gotten into our suitcases! I also informed the hotel manager, and we left that dirty hole. Later on, she sent a message saying that this is the first time she heard about bed bugs. Honestly !!!! That is our story with this hotel, in all sincerity and honesty. Very bad experience!!! We found another hotel 100 meters from this slum, and I swear it was like night and day. I won't even mention that once we got home, we had to wash all our belongings in hot water and leave them in the sun for at least 72 hours.”

“Best place to be, especially if you need a good rest and chill in nature far from the noise of cities…the staff is welcoming and lovely. Service is top, good cuisine and nice people. There is a lot of activities you can do, climbing with their staff, hiking with their guides, swimming in the waterfall of Akchour(6km far) and many more. Now, Rueda has been for me like a second home that I always visit from time to time”
