“Had an amazing time here. It’s a wonderful place built by the owner with love and care. The rooms are spacious and the pool and shaded lounge areas were a welcome escape from the extreme heat of the desert (it hit 45c when we were there!) What makes even more special is the owner Lahcen. He wants you to feel as if you are in your own home and his hospitality and care were amazing! The food, both breakfast and dinner, was delicious and generous. He helped us arrange some amazing activities! We especially enjoyed the sunset camel ride and Berber meal in the desert! Amazing memories and experience for our family. Thankyou again Lahcen, Aziz and staff.”

“I really cannot say enough good things about Maison Merzouga Guesthouse! The host, Iahcen, truly went above and beyond to make our time in Merzouga incredible. He arranged private excursions on 4 by 4s and on camels that were reasonably priced and so memorable! Both the breakfast and dinner was fantastic - honestly some of the best food we had in Morocco, and with wonderful service (the host’s young son was so sweet and attentive). And of course, the guesthouse itself was incredibly beautiful. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the common areas were beautifully decorated with so many areas for sitting and relaxing. We didn’t get around to using the pool, but it looked lovely! Don’t forget to visit the rooftop while you’re there - it’s an incredible view of the desert and oasis. Thank you Iahcen and family for such a lovely stay. The care and effort you put into your hospitality is palpable. We will certainly be back!”

“This was an amazing hotel and a beautiful riad with wonderful architecture near Merzouga. We were greeted by our host, Lahcen, who exemplified the hospitality we have received throughout this trip from everyone we met here. I came here with my parents last week where we had lots of plans on what to do in the desert, and Lahcen was able to help us with all the activities we wanted to do during our stay, which made this trip seamless and productive. The entire staff was also working tirelessly to make our experience enjoyable. This is a great place to be if you want to enjoy a few days in merzouga!”
