“What a great find, we are so sorry we only booked for 1 night on our way to the Sahara, so we have actually booked for 2 night on our way back. It is a beautiful location, large very comfortable rooms, A/C that actually works. Lovely swimming pool and REALLY excellent food at very reasonable cost. Plenty of free onsite parking. What really makes a stay at Hotel Kasbah Fenguig exceptional is the so warm and heartfelt hospitality and welcoming the staff give you, and the person who really stands out is Ismail. This gentle, professional and enthusiastic individual really does go out of his way to help in many ways. He really is a credit to this hotel. There is an excellent selection for breakfast and the evening meal we had along with everything else provided is the reason we are returning in a couple of days. Thank you all.”

“An absolutely fantastic hotel which goes well above and beyond - let me explain:||Myself and 3 friends turned up at Hotel Kasbah Fenguig on motorbikes without a prior booking as I had had an accident and injured my leg. ||The staff could not have been more helpful. We were allocated lovely rooms in this historic (1918) building (it used to be the home of the family who ‘ran’ the whole area) . We had a brilliant evening meal by the pool (traditional tagines and fresh local fruit). The wi-fi was excellent, the water in the showers always hot and the whole hotel was spotlessly clean. There is ample private (free) parking, it is all very secure and the included breakfasts are excellent. ||Once my friends had left I stayed while my leg was sorted, involving insurance phone calls, hospital visits, leg in plaster, flights home to arrange etc etc. Hicham, a young member of staff, was absolutely outstanding. Speaking very good English he helped with all arrangements and made sure that I had everything I needed. He arranged with the owner, Rachide, that I could store my motorbike in their garage while I returned to the UK to recuperate. Nothing was too much trouble and they refused to take any payment for this. He even got up at 4am to make sure my taxi turned up to take me to the airport. ||There are many hotels in this area, but you would be lucky to find a nicer one with better facilities, food and ambience. And with such fantastic staff you leave feeling you’ve had an exceptional, genuine experience. ||(In addition, I hadn’t realised that the owner, Rachide, organises camel-accompanied trekking into the desert with overnight Bedouin camping etc - I may try that when I return!) ||Overall, pretty faultless!”

“The hotel is beside the main road with the sound of traffic during the night. The breakfast was very poor (lack of variety, the orange juice was not real). Whilst having breakfast we spotted two large rats in the salon.”
