“Completely misleading photos. The rooms are old, poorly maintained, and not clean. What’s called “garden view” is just a small window overlooking the reception area. The bathroom floods every time you shower, and stays wet with no proper drainage. The hotel is also very noisy, with people making loud disturbances late at night. The location is dirty, stinky, and offers no safe parking. We considered leaving, but had already paid. This is a one star experience at best, I don’t understand how it has such a high rating.”
“Thank you dear staff for making us happy as a girls we were really welcomed greatly and we felt very safe. We did a nice massage treatment and it was satisfying we definitely recommend they massage it is one of the best I always travel to have a good massage, this time I could approve that it was the best”
“The owner is so nice and the staffs are very kind and friendly. This is Moroccan tranditional house, very beautiful and confortable. I really like it . I will come back again !”
“First of all, I want to say that most of the staff at this riad are very friendly, that’s beyond question. But overall I was quite disappointed with this riad. On Booking.com they describe themselves as “luxury,” but honestly, it feltike exactly the opposite. When I arrived, I found hair on the bed sheets and had to ask the staff to change them. In a double room there was only one bath towel, no toiletries, and no tissues so I had to go ask for those as well. There was also dust on the table, which I decided to leave it instead of making myself feel worse. The facilities seem rather old, after taking a shower, the water took a long time to drain. Another thing worth mentioning is that, although the riad is located in the center of the Medina, it seems to be in a lower part of the town, and walking around the area didn’t make me feel very comfortable. The riad also wanted us to give a 5-star review. I understand a kind reminder, but it was mentioned several times and even followed up with a message asking again for a 5-star rating. So here I am, leaving my honest feeling about Mounana Riad”
“Riad is advertised as luxurious palace and spa. It’s not even close to any of these statements. Windows have holes big enough you can see everything through them. And closing them property is a challenge. Noudine is plain rude and behaves as he’s there as a punishment. Very unprofessional. When they forgot about our early breakfast he was behaving as if this was our fault not issues with communication between the staff. Food is well overpriced for what is offered (you can find food for 1/3 of the price elsewhere). They also tried to charge us for water given with the meal (that we did not order, it was given to us, assuming it’s part of the meal). If you try to pay by card they will try adding tax on top. You won’t get any payment confirmation as well. The tanneries have a very strong smell. May not be an issue in winter times but you can definitely smell it when it’s hot”
