“Wow! Incredibly accommodating riad in the medina in Fes. First, the staff here are beyond amazing and helpful. They are accommodating with requests, friendly, and make you feel at home. The location of this riad can be a bit tricky to find the first time (especially at 1am) but once you find it, you’re set. We used online maps to navigate to and from our riad around the Medina and had no problem at all finding things. The rooms at this riad are spectacular, if you are in the right room. We had the unique opportunity to stay in two different rooms due to a change in our itinerary (we knew we would be in two different rooms). The first room was the standard room, and it was nothing special. In fact for a 5-star hotel, it was a bit of a let down. The room was small, had a double bed, the bathroom was fine. We struggled to get hot water when we arrived at 1am but that could be because it was 1am. We also couldn’t get the heat to work in the room and it was a bit cool. We spent one night in that room. We switched rooms to a suite (our original accommodation that we had booked) and WOW! This was a 5-star room. Spacious, queen bed, heat, and a beautiful bathroom (note you need to take stairs down to the bathroom but it is private and we knew this in advance). The hot water was still a bit sketchy sometimes but we think that is because hot water is limited during peak times. We did not use any of the amenities at the hotel like the pool or hammam but I’m sure they are great. The area to have breakfast and dinner is absolutely stunning and makes for a sweet little community environment. Overall, we would highly recommend this riad for your stay in Fes if you are looking for something a bit more upscale, chic, and friendly.”
“Beautiful riad with friendly staf and everything you expect from a 5 star hotel. accessible location near the medina with a beautiful view where you can have breakfast.”
“Pretty main entrance and very nice view from the rooftop. The decor of our room was fairly outdated and not quite to our taste. The staff was lovely!”
“Great place, very good value. The Junior Suite is up on its own floor, so very private. Fantastic views from the roof with various places to sit/chill. Best of all is the amazing staff. Everyone who we dealt with is warm, helpful, friendly and genuine. Made us feel very welcome. It can be tricky to find after wandering around the Medina, but that's half the fun!”
“This was a great find. As you walk in, the hotel is amazing. Lots of craftsmanship and Moroccan art. The rooms where beautiful and elegant. And it was wonderful to take a hot shower. They served I a great dinner on the terrace and breakfast as well. You could it on the bottom floor if you wished. And the food was better than most of the restaurants in our visit. The best part was the service. Youssef was an amazing host. He was always happy and of service. I had an amazing tea and biscuits on the terrace. There was another gentleman but I forget his name right now. I’ll edit my review in a bit. My apologies for not remembering. We slept in one room and our kids in another. I would highly recommend this hostel.”
