“Best of the best traditional authentic Moroccan dishes cooked by a caring aunty Bushra, the best was the beef tagine with prunes! Cooked fresh to order, lovely small setting very clean and welcoming and great prices! Must visit in Fes old medina!”
“Some of the best food I had in Morocco, really good tagine. Good restaurant run by kind women, zero aggression to get you inside like in the nearby restaurants. Pleasant experience, good prices, highly recommend!”
“We had dinner here, the Chicken Trid and Royal Couscous and it was the best food we had in all our time in Morocco. We were treated like family and got to sit on the very lovely terrace. We would return without hesitation!!”
“It was a really cozy and delicious restaurant. You can really feel the authentic atmosphere when you are there with a lovely chef that makes you feel welcomed. It is a slight stretch from the main road to a smaller road, but will definitely need to check it out if you are in Medina.”
“Food was amazing, and the two women who run the place were incredibly kind. They only speak French, but with a bit of hand gestures and smiles you understand each other just fine. With the main dish you also get a starter and a dessert without any extra charge. Everything was super delicious. We would come back anytime! 🫰🏼”
“What an amazing find. Restaurant Anas is gorgeous, with beautiful interior design. The food was amazing, definitely one of the best meals I had in Fes. The staff are family, and extremely friendly, and attentive. Hidden away and almost impossible to stumble upon unless you're looking for it, my long lunch at Anas felt like a serendipitous travel experience (and I didn't eat again until about 9!). Definitely make this a must-stop if you're on that side of the medina. (Photo is just of the salade marocaine)”
