“Beautiful newly renovated small restaurant literally in the Blue Gate. They have live music at night and a menu with starter, main dish (pastilla, tajine or cuscuz) and fruit for 40MAD/DH (~3,8€). The staff is nice and can speak reasonable English. We liked to much that came back for lunch the next day. According to Google Maps, the restaurant opens at 12:00 (and it does) but no one came to take our order. We left the place half an hour later with no food in our stomachs. So, if you're in a rush, be careful because you might not have lunch.”

“The BEST PLACE where to eat in all Fes! It’ incredible how you can pay only 80DHR (also with credit card) for the complete menu and the food is so delicious and huge portion! The best chicken cous cous, tajini and mint tea I’ve ever eaten in my life (and I’m Italian, super demanding on food then 😄). The service is amazing because the people are lovely, mostly Hamza, Nour and the cooker: a big hug to them. I came here every day for all my time in Fes. Don’t waste money and other touristic restaurants, which are just expensive and no good: come here in this cozy, delicious, super economic and friendly place!”

“Great Restaurant and Bar located directly at Bab Bou Jeloud, the blue gate at the entrance of the medina of Fes. Very good food and nice view from the terrace. Special thanks to Hamza and Sakharis who run this place and gave us lots of information about Fes and life in Morocco. We will definetly come back.”

“This was fifth time to eat tajine in morocco and it was the worst. Here's why, for a chicken, lemon and Olives tajine u expect to have the chicken cooked with all ingredients together instead what we got was a grilled chicken breast on a bed of caramelised onion with Olives topped with French fries. Taste was sub standard. Also, harira soup was below average. I don't know how this place got this high rating which makes me doubt the rates legitimacy. Otherwise view on the top and service is nice. Please if you are looking for authentic moroccon tajine avoid it.”
