“Jamavar is truly my favorite Indian restaurant in London, and in my opinion, it is simply the best. The food is consistently exceptional, and every visit is an unforgettable experience. Their lamb biryani is absolutely outstanding one of the best I’ve ever tasted. During Alphonso mango season, their special mango dishes and desserts are incredible and not to be missed. Every dish is beautifully prepared, full of authentic flavors, and made with the highest quality ingredients. Beyond the amazing food, what really sets Jamavar apart is the exceptional hospitality. From the manager to the service staff and the chefs, everyone is warm, attentive, professional, and genuinely passionate about making every guest feel welcome. I’ve dined at many Indian restaurants, but none have matched the quality, flavors, and overall experience that Jamavar consistently delivers. I always leave happy and already looking forward to my next visit. Thank you to the entire Jamavar team for your dedication and excellence. I’ll definitely be coming back again and again!”

“Dining at Jamavar to experience their 2026 Michelin Star excellence was a highlight of my trip. We tried the Mango Tasting Menu curated by Celebrity Chef Surendar Mohan, and it was spectacular. I was particularly impressed that they offered a dedicated Vegetarian version, ensuring the flavors were just as intricate and thoughtful. ​The entire evening felt incredibly special. “The food was amazing. Absolutely fantastic. Everything was cooked perfectly. The highlight of my dining experience was the octopus. It's was cooked perfectly. The atmosphere was so nice. Overall this place was fantastic. Such a good meal.”

“Positives first Food taste was generally very good especially on non veg dishes. Presentation was also good. Quantity was more than enough. Areas of improvement Vibe was missing, atmosphere was dull Paneer tikka was very ordinary tasting A bit on the lower side for salt though that's subjective but there were no table salt-pepper Staff felt not very comfortable talking to guests in English and they were all a bit casual in their movements but very stiff in communication. We went for fixed menu, IMO they should expand the bread options on fixed menu. They were too eager to pick up plates after the main course. Though 2 of us had finished but third person was still eating and they just pulled the plate for all of us. Overall staff interaction was the biggest weakness IMO.”

“My daughter and I were on a quest. The best butter chicken in London. This place was incredible! We ate it the first day and went back 3 days later. Beautiful presentation and outstanding taste. Quiet setting and very friendly folks. Nice location and outstanding dinning experience. Everything we tried was exceptional. Best butter chicken in London.”
