“If you’re looking for one of the best steakhouses in London, Sophie’s Soho is a place you shouldn’t miss. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere stands out. The restaurant has multiple seating areas, so whether you’re after a lively vibe or a quieter corner, there’s a space that suits everyone. The service was excellent throughout our visit—friendly, attentive, and professional. But the real highlight was the food. After years of visiting London almost every month and constantly searching for the perfect steak, I can honestly say I’ve finally found it. The quality of the steak was exceptional—perfectly cooked, incredibly flavorful, and among the best I’ve ever had. I was also impressed by the variety of steaks on the menu, giving you plenty of great options to choose from. Everything we ordered was outstanding, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. Sophie’s Soho has officially become my number one steak restaurant in London. From now on, it’s the first place I’ll be visiting every time I land in the city. Highly recommended.”
“After some research found this steak restaurant. And so happy we went to eat here. The food was amazing . All off enjoyed each bite. The steak the burger and the lamb were amazing tasty and please the potatoes you can not miss them never had such a good potatoes. And try out the dessert after dinner like the cheesecake 😍. Price is good for what you get .The atmosphere is also very nice different seating areas and the workers where really friendly. So I can only recommend this place when in London and looking forward to some great food”
“Located in the heart of Soho, Sophie’s Steakhouse on Great Windmill Street is set in a beautifully restored former cinema, blending historic character with modern British charm. With high ceilings, an open pit grill, and a lively yet relaxed atmosphere, it’s a perfect spot for an unhurried Sunday brunch. We couldn’t resist sampling several dishes from the grill. The buttermilk crispy squid with lemon aioli was a great start. It was light, crispy, and cooked just right. The Sunday roast featured English-cut prime rib, pit-roasted and served with horseradish, watercress, and a proper Yorkshire pudding. Comforting and well executed. The asado lamb shoulder was tender and paired nicely with our house-pour wine, but the highlight for me was the pit-roast chicken that’s juicy, flavourful, and definitely not to be missed. A satisfying Sunday brunch with hearty British flavours in the heart of Soho.”
“Had such a great (early) dinner at Sophie’s Soho🥩 The steak was absolutely incredible, salads were super fresh, and the whole vibe was just so good. I asked for all sauces on the side and they were super accommodating – no problem at all. Really kind service, great atmosphere, and honestly one of the best steaks I’ve had in London. Will definitely be back 👌🏽”
“Visited this venue before watching Hadestown, and I came back very quickly after the show! Staff were so welcoming, including the friendliest security guard! Props to Jack for making me the best spicy margs I’ve tasted. When I return to London this will definitely be one of the first places I visit again. Thanks guys!”
“Had a gorgeous evening here - Lucy the hostess was lovely and so accommodating despite how busy it was! Food was perfect, would recommend the theatre menu, and the half price cocktails are both great quality and really affordable which you don’t often get in central London!! Will be back for sure 🩷”
