“This is far more than an average supermarket—it feels like a supermarket combined with a roast chicken shop, a butcher’s, an ice cream parlour, and even a tea house, all under one roof. The space is large and wide, well organised, and easy to browse. It also carries an impressive range of international products, including herbs, spices, and sauces from many different countries—almost everything you might need for everyday cooking, whatever your cultural background. From wraps, salads, samosas, feta, naan, and olives, to sweets, watermelon, macarons, cannoli, crisps, and ice cream, the selection is remarkably diverse. The prices may not always be cheap, but both adults and children are likely to find something they enjoy, helped by staff who are polite and helpful.”

“A favourite shop to browse around, and/or shop for specialty items. Lots of French, Mediterranean, Asian and other items that you wouldn't find at most international food shops. They even stock an array of Bret's crisps (fellow Frenchies will know!)! The fresh meat fridge and counter are good quality and decently priced, as is the deli. ready-made counter. Haven't tried the ice cream and desserts yet but they look delicious. Prices can be a little expensive but this shop is a real gem”

“Love this shop. If a reciepe has an unusual ingredient you can guarantee you'll find it in this store. The fruit and veg and baklava are always fresh and nowhere else have I seen such a varied supply of olives!”

“This should be regarded as a destination deli. We were on holiday in East London & sought it out. It has every imaginable cooking ingredient, plus amazing fresh produce & freshly baked / cooked take-away treats. Large selection of Greek & Italian cheeses plus Labneh & other dairy goods. There's a huge central fresh olive bar. A back wall of every conceivable spice. A counter selling Jamaican patties, empanadas & Lebanese kibbeh etc. Really wanted to buy some but didn't have enough luggage capacity to carry it all home on the train. They had prepared salads, kebabs & sell hot rotisserie chickens. Huge side wall of pasta & rice varieties plus a middle aisle of pickles, oils & vinegars. A counter of sweet fresh baklava & other treats & then several varieties of Turkish delight & halva. We're very pleased that they offer mail order - we will be using that service now that we're back home.”

“Great food market with a large variety of preserves, herbs, spices, nuts, dried fruits, pickles etc. Very friendly and helpful staff, with decent prices for most items. Some difficult to find spice blends like zatar or berbere spice is also available here.”
