“I came here a few months ago for lunch with my partner and his mum, and I've been meaning to write this review ever since because it was such a memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, everyone made us feel so welcome. The service was exceptional throughout. Attentive without ever feeling intrusive, and every member of staff was genuinely warm and kind. It's the sort of hospitality that makes you want to come back before you've even left. The food was fantastic. I especially loved the open-fire cooking, which gave everything such incredible flavour. The bread and dips were the perfect way to start, the sashimi was beautifully fresh, and the sea bass chermoula was absolutely delicious. We also really appreciated the wine list, which is thoughtfully curated with some wonderful gems that you don't often come across. It's not often you find a restaurant where both the food and the hospitality are equally outstanding. Even though it's been a few months since our visit, it's one of those meals I still think about, and I'm already looking forward to coming back.”

“Had a wonderful time celebrating my partner's birthday at The Barbary. The service was excellent - hostess Mona and waitress Grace gave us excellent recommendations and ensured we were really looked after throughout the night. The food was excellent and unique - my personal highlights were the yellow tail sashimi, the beef tartare (which is one of the best I've had), the Hereford côte de boeuf, and the olive oil ice-cream. Compliments to the chef. Plus we got a birthday card and a candle which we weren't expecting. Would truly recommend dining here for special occasions!”

“Love this restaurant. It is not our first time here. All food was so great as usual! But Yellowtail Sashimi and Brûlée Rice Pudding were outstanding (now I understand why sashimi is so popular in the reviews). We will come again and again!!”

She was super professional, helpful/knowledgeable of the menu, and was great energy all around. She was a 100/10 and recommended some of the best food I’ve had in London in years. Will come back!!!”
