“Really good value for money. Hotel is in a nice, relatively quiet location and only 20 mins away from the airport. The rooms were spacious and clean but quite dated, and the beds were a bit uncomfortable. Breakfast was a bit basic but definitely edible - although I did hear some guests be denied dairy milk alternatives so if you have dietary requirements it might be worth double checking that the hotel can accommodate. Pool was lovely, very comfortable setting - a few of the people work behind the bar were a bit rude though. The QR code feature to order food/room service didn't work for us, but we just went to the bar and ordered from there.”
“Just spent 4 days at this hotel and whilst things weren't perfect we had an enjoyable stay and definitely for what we paid had great value for money. Firstly, our room and public areas in the hotel were really clean. The pool was a godsend to escape the fiery 43 degree heat. It's not a massive area, but then it's not a huge hotel. The pool attendant was very friendly, efficient and helped everyone get a sun lounger and provided mattresses and towels. Almost all of the staff throughout the hotel were great, although there was one guy who worked behind the bar who seemed generally grumpy towards customers. Maybe it was the heat getting to him?|Breakfast was ok. Fresh eggs/omelettes made, hot foods, salad stuffs, breads, pastries etc. The coffee & juices were good. There was sometimes a wait for glasses and plates to be replaced. |Our room was advertised as deluxe. It was basic, but fine for our needs. TV had 3 or 4 English language channels. Bed was large and comfortable. The air con worked fine and was a relief to come back to after being in the hot weather and that applies to both day and night time The mini fridge was great to keep cold drinks in which was needed as sitting on the balcony it was as hot as the surface of the sun even at 4am!|The location was great with shops, restaurants and bars really close by. Cafe Atlas 2 minutes walk away was great for an ice cold beer and fir food the little Lebanese restaurant opposite the hotel was gorgeous and cheap as chips!|Overall a good stay.”
“I had a fantastic four‑night stay while in town for Marrakech half marathon. The service from the staff stood out — everyone was friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout my visit. It made the whole experience feel smooth. The hotel is conveniently close to several restaurants and bakeries, which made grabbing meals and snacks incredibly easy, especially on busy race days. Being able to walk everywhere was an added bonus. It was an excellent stay, and I will return next year for another marathon event.”
“We were a bit worried after reading some of the reviews but have been pleasantly surprised. The rooms were large, clean and spacious. Big bathroom. Super comfy beds and air conditioning. Not much more you can ask for when you are out most of the time anyway. The breakfast was great, we thought. Everything from fresh pastries (big selection) to hot food, to European meats and cheeses, cereals, freshly squeezed juices, yoghurts, fresh fruit, coffee machine, freshly made Moroccan breads, made in front of you and an omlette station. Can’t fault it, at all! ❤️ The staff at the front desk were so lovely and friendly and Azziz, the pool guy was outstanding! Yes the bar guys weren’t the happiest souls but nothing I couldn’t cope with! 🤷🏼♀️ The highlight to our holiday was using the Spa. It is downstairs just beside the pool and the staff were incredible. We had the Hammam treatment and massage and it was THE best we have ever had. The girls were super friendly, thorough and really knew what they were doing. It was so good that even though we were only there for 5 nights, we went back and had the same treatments a second time, the day we were leaving. A definite must when staying at the hotel. Overall, we thought it was great, the drinks were cold, the food we ordered was lovely and 99% of the staff were friendly and welcoming, so we will definitely be back. Thank you Diwane Hotel & Spa 🥰”
“Absolute value for money. The hotel is so central and perfectly placed to explore the city. The rooms are a bit old fashioned, as is the décor, however it's clean and tidy. Two things to note; 1 they don't serve alcohol, not necessarily an issue as there a loads of local bars that do, however you can't bring your own drinks (non-alcoholic) to the pool area, you have buy them from the bar 2. the staff are super friendly and nice but the managers are not. Overall we had a fab time and met some lovely visitors and staff and would visit again”
“If you are looking for a good value budget hotel, then the Diwane hits the mark. If you’re looking for 5 star luxury then you may need to wait until they have fully refurbished the place. |On arrival we were advised if we didn’t like the room they could upgrade us (a hint as to what to expect). The room however was clean and spacious. As we were only staying 3 nights it was fine, although desperately in need of a refresh. Breakfast was ok with all the offerings you would expect The omelette station was a good option although expect a wait during busy periods. The real star of the show is Assif. The pool attendant who goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. I always tip but regardless,he was worth every penny and more. Reception staff were helpful and courteous and overall we were happy with our stay. Especially for what we paid. The only real negative which has left a sour taste was the bar staff. Had previously read a couple of reviews that mentioned them negatively. However did not have any preconceived ideas. Final day and feel they deliberately short changed me on the bill. Even after tipping. Had to question twice before getting resolved, and even then still short.”
