“Me and my family stayed in Kenzi Rose Garden. I could not fault anything. It was a beautiful hotel, and the staff are very friendly and approachable. The only problem I would say I had very minor one is that I was expecting a 5 star hotel to provide toothpaste and toothbrush. Just like any other 5 star hotel, But there was none. But luckily we bought our own one, which isn't a big deal. We also checked in late, and we made a request to have a late check out. But I was told to mention it on the morning we were going to check out. We were not honoured a late check out. So had to check out at 12pm. Apart from that I had no issues with this hotel. I would recommend it to anyone to book it. It is safe and very secure. You will not have problems popping out late night as it's a safe neighborhood. Also there is no local quick shops near by. The nearest is the Menara Mall about 7 minutes walk.”
“My friend and I stayed here for 3 night. We arrived very late and the Italian restaurant was still open. Very nice food. Was a relief to find them open still.||The breakfast we had was really good. Lots of variety and fresh. My advise is to get there before 9 as it can get a bit busy.||The only things that let the hotel down was the none existent air con and our key card not working every day.||Aircon was at 31 deg when we arrived. We tried to sort, we complained about it the next day. They said they would fix, but it was not much cooler. Still set at 27 deg. It was not a pleasant experience trying to sleep. ||A nice place overall, with the aircon not working, we will not be returning.”
“We were after a hotel that had a large pool area to relax after sight seeing in February, and this 100% fitted the bill. The pool area is lovely and there was always a sun bed available with great pool tunes being played (only v.small issue was running out of pool towels but that is a bonus in a hotel). Our room was large and airy and cleaned well and there was a separate toilet and shower. We had three large single beds in the room which was cleaned daily. The hotel breakfast was good, lots of variety both hot and cold and we always found a table, only issue we found was the hot drinks machines were always broken/needing replenishing. Food was fresh and plentiful. The staff were always polite. The Medina area was around a 20-30 min walk away and at the street behind the hotel there were restaurants/sky bars which was pricey but high end decor and atmosphere. We paid 50MAD to go to most sights from the hotel and we paid 100-130MAD to go to/from airport but it is all haggling. We had a great four days in Marrakesh with lovely weather and a great hotel as our base - would recommend this hotel.”
“We arrived in the evening and it was after 10 and restaurants were still open on site which was good. The Italian place was stunning food. |Our room was a double twin which was nice, the room could do with a little updating and we were on the 4th floor facing the road so traffic was a little noisy. |The air con was not working and it was 31 degrees in the room we tried and tried to get it to work and complained the next day. They said they would fix, it got the room to 27 degrees which is still too hot, we were there 3 nights so wasn't worth us moving so we used our own fans and cold towels, so much for a 5 star hotel. |We had bottled of water and fridge in the room which is a bonus and safe which was free. Room was cleaned every day. |The breakfast choices were amazing, lots of choice and friendly staff. |Shops on site sell essentials if you forgot anything like deodorant like me! ||The key card to the room stopped working each day so meant we had to trek all the way to reception again to get it re coded which was a pain. ||No entertainment at night really considering busy hotel and kids. ||Pools were great and warm but got packed as you can imagine, there was supposed to be an adult pool... This was not the case and there were some feral kids causing issues. |Highly recommend the smoothies in the outside bar they were tasty. Toilets all clean. |A nice place overall. Air con and the card let the review down.”
“Just completed a good one night stay at Kenzi. Read a few reviews about challenges with English speakers, but that was not my experience. Staff was always willing to help. Room service was good. We did not eat breakfast even though it was included but it seemed very in line with other hotels on our trip on a walk through.”
“Big hotel in good location. Easy walk to major shopping mall. Room was spacious and clean. Bathroom was functional and clean with limited amenities. Good wifi. Comfy bed. The pool area (multiple pools) was very nice with a resort feel. Bar prices were reasonable. Service standards depended on who was serving - a bit hit and miss. Overall a nice experience.”
