“ATTENTION‼️ PLEASE DO NOT BOOK This hotel does not even deserve 1 star!!. If I had the option to choose 0 I would!! It has been an utter disappointment throughout the whole entire stay. We were told we could check in at around 3pm, however none of the rooms that we booked were ready. Housekeeping had not even started to clean our rooms and we were sat waiting from 11:30am to 5pm and even then only one room was ready by 5pm. One of the rooms had a very bad smell and the other had hair in the bath and ants all over the bed. Our key cards also constantly kept not working and staff were of no help to us at all, apart from the doormen who would greet us everyday. This experience has made us all really upset and our money has gone to waste. Each day has been terrible and it does not reflect 4 stars at all. Please if you are reading this — do not book I am warning you. On our last day we woke up to smoke at around 6am in the morning. The fire took very long to put out and no alarm nor announcement put in place to warn us about the fire. We were stuck inhaling carbon monoxide on our balconies and some families were stuck for a very long time. The hotel did not refund us at all regarding this incident. Many lives could have been lost but luckily we had made it downstairs entirely by ourselves. Truly a traumatic experience and no accountability taken. No safety precautions were put in place!! Very very bad experience”
“Quite good hotel. Unfortunately when our group checked in there were already people in our rooms! Some of the rooms were a little shabby and in need of an update. The pool area was lovely. Shame couldn't put the bar purchases on the room tab. The breakfasts were very good with lots of choice.”
“I had two completely different experiences at this hotel, and unfortunately, the second one completely changed my opinion.||I stayed for one night, and my experience with the morning reception team was outstanding. The lady from Casablanca and the gentleman from Fez were incredibly professional, welcoming, respectful, and genuinely kind. They made me feel valued as a guest from the moment I arrived. I would also like to thank the three doormen/bellmen, who were always smiling, helpful, and very professional. They truly represent the hospitality that every hotel should offer.||After checking out this morning, I returned around 6:00 PM because my meetings in Marrakech were not finished, so I wanted to book another room for one more night.||Unfortunately, the evening experience was the complete opposite.||The supervisor on duty (I don’t know her name, but she was wearing a different uniform from the rest of the reception team) was extremely rude. She rolled her eyes, spoke with an unpleasant attitude, and made me feel completely unwelcome. As someone working at the front desk, your attitude is often the first and last impression guests have of the hotel, and this behavior is simply unacceptable.||The receptionist beside her was genuinely trying to help me, but she kept interrupting. Yesterday I paid 800 MAD for the room, and just a couple of hours after checking out, I was told the exact same room would cost 960 MAD. I understand that hotel rates can change, but what disappointed me wasn’t only the price—it was the way the situation was handled.||I have many years of experience in the luxury hospitality industry, so I know the standards that guests should receive. Respect, professionalism, and kindness cost nothing.||Because of the attitude I experienced, I decided to leave and book another hotel instead.||My sincere thanks again to the wonderful morning team and the doormen—you are a real asset to this hotel.||My advice to the management is to pay closer attention to the evening reception team, especially the supervisor’s approach to guests. Great hospitality is not only about beautiful rooms; it is about how people are treated.||Today, you didn’t just lose a room booking—you lost a guest who was ready to stay another night and who would have happily recommended your hotel to others.”
“It wasn’t great. The hotel is old. The bathtubs are clogged so water drains slowly. They don’t even have bathroom slippers (free or for sale). The room didn’t have a kettle, or tea or water but it did have a fridge. Good location, close to the mall and markets. The staff were nice tho especially Mohammed.”
“Positives- Beautiful grounds, excellent location, taxis always out front, friendly staff, several dining options, good breakfast buffet with good hours until 1030, different areas on property to relax, many pool side loungers/chairs/sofas. Money exchange ( one way) on site was a decent enough rate. Poolside rooms have a lovely balcony with table/two chairs ||Negatives- very firm beds/ pillows, older property in need of refresh, shower water lukewarm, pool though huge was nearly 100% deep causing everyone to hang out on the steps ( no standing ledge surrounding inside of pool)|Bottom line .. next time I would explore other options near this hotel”
“I stayed here a few times while traveling through Marrakech. The hotel is nice, in a great location, and has excellent amenities including a heated outdoor pool, restaurants, and spa. Staff are mostly welcoming and friendly. The rooms look fresher online than in person, but are still clean and a decent size. Breakfast is very simple but efficient, in the Moroccan style. The on-site restaurants were a bit underwhelming—food was often dry or lacking flavour compared to other spots nearby, especially given the hotel prices. The WiFi was terrible—consistently dropping out and low speeds. Definitely don’t plan on working from here or posting large content as nothing reliably loads. It’s a popular hotel for large tour groups, so it can get quite busy. With usually only one person at the front desk, you may find yourself waiting for assistance at times. There are also a few small improvements that would make a big difference—complimentary bottled water in the rooms would be helpful after a long journey, softer and more comfortable pillows are definitely needed, and having an iron/ironing board available would be very useful for travellers needing to freshen up clothes.”
