“The hotel staff on our stay were very helpful and friendly. We were always able to book taxis through the person at the front desk which helped us a-lot during our stay given the distance between the hotel and the main centre. We booked just a room but were able to have basic breakfast/ lunch upon request. The room overall was clean however we never got a new wash towel throughout our stay. The walls of the rooms are quite thin so we could always hear what was going on in and around the hotel. We didn’t travel with a child but from what we see there was not an awful lot to entertain children. If I was to come back to Marrakech I would definitely return to this hotel.”

“A Perfect Stay in Marrakesh! Our stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The room was gorgeous — beautifully designed, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. Everything felt luxurious and well thought out. The staff were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay, always going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious, and the breakfast buffet in particular was amazing — so much variety and everything fresh and full of flavor. The pool and facilities were excellent, providing the perfect place to relax after exploring the city. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Marrakesh — we’d definitely come back!”

My partner and I spent several nights at this romantic hideout on the quiet outskirts of Marrakech and savoured every moment, whether reading by the pool, enjoying regional cuisine or relaxing in the luxurious lounge areas. We were made to feel at home with every need tended to. Can't recommend highly enough and look forward to returning to later this year for my birthday.”

“Conveniently located across the road from a scrap metal rubbish dump, the location is enhanced by bands of feral wild dogs prowling the nearby wasteland. It’s not signposted - a road sign declares Riad dar Ilhan as the venue. Exciting! A secret location. When we finally gained entry, after ringing the bell at the gate, we drove up and booked into a room I would describe as ‘deposed dictator chic’. It was very cold. An awful humming turned out to be the air conditioning units in the roof. Dinner was the worst meal I’ve had in 10 days in Morocco. A salty over cooked chicken tajine. Breakfast was a horror - awful breads, glow in the dark processed meats and supermarket cereal in jars. We went to a great cafe up at the main road intersection. The staff at ‘Palace Africa’ were friendly and helpful.”
