AG HOTEL & SPA MARRAKECH

“DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. If i could give this hotel a 0 star rating i would. First of all when we arrived it was all dark inside and we had to wait for one of the 2 staff that work there to come to the reception so we can check in. We also wanted to have some food as we had not eaten all day due to travelling. the male staff member that worked could not speak any sort of english. when we got given our food it was shocking. the food was undercooked and flavourless and they were charging way too much for what we was given. the guy working kept huffing and puffing at anything we was saying and when we went to the lady she rudely said “well if you don’t like don’t pay” . this made us feel really uncomfortable, unwelcome and judged. The hotel its self seemed abandoned and out of the way. a lot of the pictures are not how the rooms or hotel actually is. one of the photos is the outside of one of the few villas that are around us. although our room was nice and spacious there were still so many things completely wrong such as the ac partially working, holes in the bath, broken shower head and some of the sockets coming off the walls. overall this hotel experience was the worst one i have had by far. Do not book this hotel under any circumstance”

“On a passé un super séjour. L'hôtel était propre, moderne et l'ambiance était vraiment sympa. Le personnel était très accueillant et toujours prêt à aider, on s'est sentis chez nous dès notre arrivée. L'équipe de ménage faisait un travail impeccable, tout était nickel chaque jour. Une très bonne expérience, je reviendrai sans hésiter.”

“Si vous cherchez un hôtel proche du centre-ville, ce n'est pas celui-là. Il se trouve à environ trente minutes de route de Marrakech et les Uber sont rares. Demandez au personnel de l'hôtel, ils peuvent vous organiser un taxi pour environ 150 dirhams l'aller. À part ça, c'est un bel hôtel, propre et avec une ambiance très détendue. Le personnel est génial et toujours prêt à aider. Ils rendent vraiment le séjour plus agréable.”

“Location - This hotel is in the middle of nowhere. It is around 23 km from the square. It's difficult to get a taxi and when you do it costs 150d to get to the square and 200 on the return journey. There ate no local restaurants, shops or activities. |The hotel seemed to be almost empty. Therefore it lent to a strange atmosphere. |Our double room with a balcony was nicely decorated, the beds were very comfortable and the maid did a fantastic job every day in cleaning the room. |The hotel was clean. The lobby was large but very hot, the air-conditioning was definitely not switched on. |The pool was a good size and most of the time we had the pool to ourselves. The loungers were very dirty, splattered with bird poo. The carasols were all broken and a danger to customers, one flew into the pool. Another customer had to fish it out of the pool. There was a gapping hole near the pool which was a trip hazard. At one point the pool turned green, we complained about it. Unfortunately it took them 3 days to sort out. |Adil was the only staff member who tried his best to make us feel comfortable under the circumstances. He was such a hard working staff member. |The resturant food was extremely limited and not very tasty according to another customer. So we didn't bother wasting our money .|Breakfast was very limited and a great dissappointmemt.|I would not recommend this hotel to anyone but especially families with small children. As there are far too many hazards.”

“We arrived at the hotel expecting it to be very glamorous given the instagram feed, it is definitely not the same as the ai images! However, we had a really lovely time there and the staff were amazing. On our first night we checked in but there was a problem with the a/c, they tried to fix it but in the end we swapped rooms and had working a/c - bliss! Rooms were clean but a bit tired in places (cigarette burns in the bath) |It was really quiet, would be lovely to go to with a group of friends, but there’s nothing much to do in the evenings, so I’d recommend taking games etc. |Our view of the food was mixed with some being hot and delicious and some cold and not so good. Breakfasts were always nice with a good range of yoghurts, melon, bread, freshly cooked omlette etc.|The staff could not be more helpful and tried so hard to overcome any issues. |For some reason we thought there was a shuttle bus into the centre, but there wasn’t. Taxis cost 300d return. |Despite the imperfections, I would return to this hotel as it was a lovely relaxing holiday. There was always space around the pool and a good supply of pool towels too. We often had the pool to ourselves which was lovely.”

“On a adoré cet hôtel, c'est vraiment calme et paisible. Les transats autour de la piscine étaient presque toujours libres. Le personnel a fait tout son possible pour nous aider, ils étaient tous très gentils. Notre chambre était magnifique, très propre et la clim fonctionnait parfaitement. Seul bémol, l'hôtel est loin du centre, il faut prendre un grand taxi plutôt qu'un taxi normal. On gardait le numéro du chauffeur et on lui envoyait des messages, ça simplifiait tout vu la distance avec Marrakech.”
