Royal Mansour Marrakech

“I visited Royal Mansour Marrakech during Eid Al-Fitr with my family for afternoon tea. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. We waited for more than 15 minutes upon arrival without being greeted or acknowledged by any staff member. We then had to ask ourselves about availability and were informed that it was first-come, first-served and fully booked. While we understand the high demand during holidays, what was missing was basic hospitality and communication. No guidance was given on where to wait or how the process worked, which made the arrival experience uncomfortable. What disappointed us most was the approach regarding photography. We had travelled from Casablanca and were genuinely excited to discover the hotel, take a few photos, enjoy our afternoon tea, and leave. However, we were asked to limit photography even though the area was not crowded at the time. This made us feel unwelcome and affected the overall experience. Having experienced excellent service at Royal Mansour Casablanca, I was surprised by the difference in service in Marrakech. I hope this feedback will be taken into consideration, as a luxury hotel should ensure a consistent and welcoming experience for all guests.”

“Afternoon tea at the Royal Mansour was an unforgettable experience and easily deserves five stars. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel completely looked after.||The food was exceptional a beautiful selection of cakes, pastries, and savoury bites, all presented perfectly and in generous portions. There was so much choice, and everything we tried was delicious. The tea itself was equally lovely, with a great range to suit every taste.||The setting is truly breathtaking. After tea, we wandered through the grounds and were completely taken in by the surroundings. We loved the serene pool area and orange trees made it feel like a peaceful oasis.||We finished with drinks in the bar, which were just as impressive ! They were expertly made and the perfect way to round off the experience. A truly beautiful and memorable afternoon. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Marrakech.”

“It was a rocky start with the fast track entry at the airport getting messed up. They didn’t have our names at the fast track desk and were really rude to us about it despite us explaining our situation to them. It really left a bad first impression since we were hoping to have a smooth and comfortable entry into the country. It’s what you expect booking “the best hotel in Marrakech” after all. At this point I was regretting not going with Amanjena. However, as we got to the hotel, the beautiful interior and attentive staff did melt our hearts a little. The staff members at breakfast were particularly pleasant. The Italian restaurant and its tasting menu was quite delightful too. But the afternoon tea left a lot to be desired. Unprofessional staff (the birds got to the cakes multiple times before they got served, they brought out the wrong tea for me, etc) made me wonder how they could be so different from the breakfast team. Regardless the hotel was undoubtedly very beautiful and we did have a wonderful time overall.”

“It was my first time in Marrakech and with the help of Wissam, I was able to book an appointment for a hammam spa treatment. I was staying outside of the hotel and upon arrival, everyone was warm and welcoming. The treatment was done with Intissar, who was very kind and made me feel extremely comfortable. Her professionalism and care were very much appreciated. I left feeling relaxed and at peace. My next trip to Marrakech will absolutely include another visit. Thank you to you and your team.”

“We really enjoyed the body massage by Salma — it was wonderful and deeply relaxing. The dinner was delightful with a very pleasant atmosphere, and breakfast was beautiful and peaceful at this time of day. The garden is heaven and so beautifully done and maintained. So far, this has been a truly beautiful riad to enjoy and unwind in privately. A few small details that would make the stay even more comfortable would be having a full-length mirror in the room for getting ready before going out, as well as slightly brighter lighting. The bathroom is a bit smaller than expected, though the shower functions wonderfully. Overall, we are having a lovely experience. Thank you so much for your hospitality.”
