“Good restaurant with option for a daily menu for 85 DH!! Staff is friendly; you can pay bu cash or card. We had the pizza and salad just to try and it was a delicious surprise.”
“I am sorry for not including any photo but the food was just so good that I forgot about taking pictures. Thank you for great service and very friendly prize for such a menu. We had the daily menu that includes starter, main dish and dessert for 85 dirhams. Each of them was profesionally served and decorated and just delicious.”
“Was suggested by our walking tour guide. It’s good. Not blown away, but for being right outside of the main square, it’s definitely a good place to come eat!”
“Wonderful place recommended by our local walking tour guide! Affordable (85 MAD for the menu de jour), tasty, comfortable, and such excellent service by Hafsa (try speaking to her in any language - she’ll know it!). Definitely pay a visit.”
“The food was good. The portion of couscous was very big and it was very good. It was quite crowded during lunchtime.”
“Food OK, an interesting take on a chicken tagine, which was actually quite tasty. Busy, buzzy, but abysmal service - 25 minutes for a juice and 35 minutes for food”
“Our first taste of Marrakech, was lovely. From the friendly staff to the delicious food served! We tried Keftes (cheese triangles and mixed meat rolls), Tabouleh (flavoursome mixed tomato, cucumber and bulgar wheat salad), chicken Pastilla (sweetened spiced chicken in a filo pastry) and layered aubergine in a tomato sauce, topped with melted cheese.”
“After seeing the great reviews of this place, I decided to give it a try and I was not disappointed. To be fair, this is the first time in my LIFE I have had Moroccan food, so I’m no expert by any means, but every single dish was done well. The harira soup is slightly similar to Middle Eastern style lentil soup but better. Their Moroccan salad was a typical blend of tomatoes, onions, and cucumbers, but they clearly have access to very good produce because it was great and fresh tasting. Had my first tagine, and it was a winner. Honestly, the meat (beef) was almost an afterthought because it’s all the other players that make the dish special (raisins, spices, nuts, other things). Good service, too, and they aren’t out there trying to rope in tourists because I think they know people seeking good food in the heart of tourist land know where to find them. The place was packed at 4:45pm! And the best endorsement is that locals are secretly eating here because I see the restaurant staff sneaking out tons of food to neighboring shops, hotels, markets, etc!”
