“I had an amazing experience at this restaurant in Marrakech. The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was full of flavor and clearly made with care. From start to finish, everything we tried exceeded expectations. The service was just as impressive. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome throughout the entire meal. They went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. On top of that, the prices were unbelievably affordable for the quality of food and service provided. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Marrakech. Definitely a place I would come back to!”

“Warning - Waiter adds own tip into cost. Positive: We ordered the chicken and the meat (beef) tanjia. Both were good sizes and were fairly well flavoured. Bread and olives were provided. Negative: The pot of tea was a little small. Our bill should have come to 195DH, but the waiter said our bill was 215DH. He didn't provide us with a paper receipt for us to check. We checked all the prices on the menu, calculated the cost with the waiter, and he agreed our calculation was correct. He then said that the extra was for his tip! I always thought it was the customer that decided on the tip, not the waiters!”

“Don’t go here. The guy that runs it is a scammer. Food was nasty after waiting over an hour for it to come out, and then once he told us the price, which was 140dh, we asked if he had change for a 200dh. He quickly snatched the bill out of my wife’s hand before she even presented it and he threw a 5dh back and then ran off like he had something to do. He stole our money. He was also yelling at and grabbing his employees aggressively the entire time and just was horrible. Don’t come here, unless you want to be scammed and have bad food.”

“Queuing for the excellent adjscent Dabachi Chez Cherif. Pulled from Q by waiter insisting its same memu. Once seated, service was abominable. Drinks opened & left without glasses. Starters served with no cutlery. 20 min later when finally got attention of waiter & starters cold, he runs away mid sentence to get cutlery for 2 ppl instead of 4. Pizzas cold. Excuse given that tagines take longer. Overall terrible service & very poor quality food. When complained, waiter said its because of ramadam fasting!! In summary, staff are poaching from Chez Cherif Q but once seated, you are forgotten. So sorry I fell for it. Stick with the excellent adjacent Debachi Chez Cherif.”
