“This was a much better restaurant than Belle diffusion. The dishes are better, the potions are larger and the tea is to die for. It suddenly started raining while we were walking and shopping around and we sought cover in this restaurant. The servers and waiters were very good and helped us. We stayed for a little bit. We tried some of their food stamps. I would recommend this place better than more other expensive ones.”
“Avoid if you can. “Beer” is hop water, they lie that it is alcoholic, but in reality it tastes like any non-alcoholic beer. Price of a glass of this “beer” is: 50 dirhams. Again: Avoid if you can. Better to go to Kosybar rooftop, where they serve proper beer.”
“Just ate here with my wife. We were being indecisive and settled on this place as the gentleman at the front of the house was very warm. We had a little of everything on the menu and nothing disappointed us. I'm always afraid of visiting tourist traps, but this place was wonderful. The gentleman at the front of the house was also our waiter and he was very attentive and accommodating. Food prices were very reasonable for this part of the Medina (70 dirham for an appetizer, main and dessert) would recommend to anyone visiting.”
“The food and service were amazing, the falafel were the best i‘ve ever had!! Definitely recommend this place”
“We ate here tonight and it was fantastic! We had the tajine kefta and tajine beef and vegetables and it was really tasty. The staff was friendly and personable and it was a really enjoyable meal. The only "off" thing was another customer was really rude towards them, but even then, the staff stayed calm. They handled the rudeness MUCH better than I would have! If you get a chance... go!”
“Great option for lunch! Have been here many times and the service is always great and the food is very good. Good value option! Lots of seating and quiet compared to many other parts of the Medina. The falafel salad is awesome and very filling. Good spot for a group. Also good for a solo meal and to relax and rest after a full day of walking and exploring 🙂”
“A breadth of good food which was being enjoyed by solo diners and large groups. The staff were attentive and warm, and happy to explain items on the menu. The coffee and Moroccan tea were perfect, and just what we needed after a hard and happy day visiting palaces, gardens, tombs and the bazaar”
“The food was just okay, it was edible but my stomach wasn't feeling the best after. The falafel was not crunchy at all and the zalouk had no taste. The burger was very bland and boring, definitely needs more spices. I would not recommend coming here, there are lots of better places and cheaper. They also tried to charge us 20% service fee, which was a bit ridiculous.”
