Merzouga-Caravanserai Luxury Desert Camp In Morocco-Jaimas Lujo Merzouga

“After a thorough research we decided to book a stay in this camp and swap a default camp accommodation offered to us by tourradar app for this trip (it required an extra $$$ but was worth it!). The places seen on the way to Merzouga and this specific camp were the highlights of our trip. We arrived to riad Serai first where we were chilling for 3 hours using their AC'ed lounges and swimming pool. We then set off to the camp around 7pm on camels. The camp was beautiful and the hospitality of the staff was second to none. We also had the best dinner we have had during our stay in Morocco. It was an unforgettable, peaceful, quality and therefore memorable experience. Highly recommended!”

“SO happy we booked here! Rashid was an amazing host and everyone we met was incredibly hospitable and kind. The rooms were beautiful and very comfortable; it did not feel like camping! We had camel rides there and back, and it was such a beautiful, peaceful experience. The fire and Berber music was great fun and the musician leading the music and dancing was fantastic. Beautiful setting for stargazing and sunset watching. Food was great and especially loved the fresh orange juice and Berber omelette in the morning! All in all a wonderful experience, would definitely recommend!”

“We had an unforgettable experience in Caravanserai camp, stayed for 2 nights and honestly will remember for the rest of our lives! The tent is super well equiped (except I really missed a hair dryer especially as it gets so cold in the evening in last days of November, but I believe it’s to save energy), heated and great to sleep, also overall super cozy and well designed. Hamid took care of us for the whole length of our stay, and we are more than thankful for having this amazing person around, and it’s him to thank for making this experience so enjoyable. The camp is in a great location and all suggested activities were super cool, quads, 4x4 tour through desert&Berber village etc. The downside was the food, breakfast was quite good (especially tagine shakshuka) but dinner really needs to step up as it’s not that great. Meals are very simple and it’s okay but they lack quality and taste. If you want alcohol, you should bring your own - they don’t sell. It’s most likely a once in a lifetime experience and we’re happy we chose Caravanserai ❤️”
