“We had an amazing stay at Temple des Arts and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. One of the most unique things about the hotel is that all the rooms are themed around movies. We stayed in the “Cleopatra” room, which was absolutely beautiful. It was very spacious for our family of three, and the huge bathroom with the royal-style bath placed in the middle made the whole experience feel luxurious and memorable. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly throughout our stay and truly went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. After a lot of travelling, we were looking for something simple and basic for dinner, and they were more than happy to accommodate our request, which we really appreciated. The hotel is also perfectly located — very close to the centre of Ouarzazate, yet calm, peaceful and quiet, making it a perfect place to relax. Overall, a fantastic experience and a place we would definitely recommend if you are staying in the area.”
“Le Temple des Arts is an exceptional hidden gem in Ouarzazate. The hotel’s unique artistic design and Hollywood movies-inspired suites offer an intimate ambiance you cannot find anywhere else. Everything from the spacious, pristine rooms to the tranquil, garden and pool area is designed for absolute relaxation. What truly elevates this property is the wonderful, attentive team. They went above and beyond to personalize our stay, ensuring our every need was met with a warm smile. The culinary experience was equally impressive, featuring delicious local flavors made with fresh ingredients. It is the ultimate retreat in Ouarzazate you cannot miss.”
“Do not stay here!||First I’d like to say that almost all of the staff were welcoming and nice. However, there was one creepy staff member. I believe he was the owner. He was watching us the entirety of the time we were out of our room in the hotel. Once we got to our room, we were dissatisfied to see how run down it seemed. We are a family of four and the kids room included two small beds that had basically a non-existent mattress, and an uncomfortable blanket. The beds were dirty and had ants on the frames. It was not a big deal but the tv was incredibly old and was slow. The hotel describes that they have “high speed wifi”, but after executing a wifi speed test, the speed of the WiFi was the equivalent of getting one bar of 2G cell service (phones operate on 5G these days). A family member had a massage and while the masseuse was excellent, the massage bed was disgusting. Additionally, the hotel was absolutely empty during our stay. I would not recommend”
“We arrived at this guesthouse late in the evening after a grueling six-hour journey involving washed-out roads and a mechanical breakdown. We were immediately greeted by a wonderfully friendly staff, overseen by Omar, who ushered us to our room and reopened the kitchen to prepare a delicious dinner. The next day, the peaceful gardens and beautiful outdoor pool completely melted away the stress of the previous day. Each of the seven rooms is unique, featuring themes from well-known movies, while the public areas are filled with art and designed for tranquility. The experience felt like having a personal butler service, with Omar always available to help. The location is ideal for visiting the film studios in the "Hollywood of Morocco" and is an easy drive to Ait Ben Haddou. This is easily one of our favorite experiences in Morocco.”
“I felt like we checked into The Shining. It was so eerie - dark, quiet, dilapidated, in dire need of touch-ups throughout - chipped paint, rusty faucet fixtures, worn-out towels, and dated rooms. "The spa" is also rundown to feel unsanitary. I know this is a random stop in Morocco, but it should not be billed as a 5-star and the photos are very misleading. All this said, the staff concierge/bellhop/front-desk manager was lovely. The lovely breakfast in the breakfast room was the best part of the experience -”
“Amazing style( Egyptian concept) the room was super clean and spacious, dinner was tasty and well served by Omar! I’ll go back again.”
