“My daughter, a friend, and I stayed at Barceló Fès Medina during our trip to Fez for the closing event of the Fez Festival of World Sacred Music, and our experience was truly wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality. The reception team was exceptional. The young staff members at the front desk were always friendly, helpful, and eager to assist with any request. Their positive attitude made us feel comfortable and valued throughout our stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The hotel's location was also very convenient for exploring the city and attending festival events. I would also like to recognize the restaurant team for their excellent service. Every member of the staff was courteous, attentive, and dedicated to ensuring guests had an enjoyable dining experience. Their kindness and professionalism did not go unnoticed. This trip created beautiful memories for us, and the outstanding service provided by both the reception and restaurant teams played an important role in making it so special. “Good location in the newer part of Fez, around 10 mins by taxi from the Medina. Some nice local restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Had a junior suite which accommodated the 4 of us well. Room was clean and looked fairly recently renovated. Comfortable. Hotel was relaxing, pool area was nice (water a little cold), basic gym. Very nice breakfast. Staff very pleasant. ||Booked a city tour with Medina Mystique Travel via Viator which was really good - 5 hours and covered all the main sites. Also booked an airport transfer which worked well. Best currency exchange was Fes Change - about 10 min walk from hotel. 12 MAD to GBP, although the exchange in the airport wasn’t that bad at 11.8 MAD. Walked 10 mins to the train station for our train to Rabat which we booked through the ONCF app without issue.”

“Nice location but few things were disappointing. The room didn’t have a toothbrush or toothpaste, and when we asked at night the front desk said we had to wait until morning to get them, which is surprising for such a hotel. Also, housekeeping would knock and open the door almost immediately while saying “room cleaning,” without giving time to answer, which felt really uncomfortable”

“Since 2023, my husband and I have been regular guests at the Barceló Hotel in Fes, and we have always been very satisfied with our stays. We have been members since then, and one thing we truly appreciate is how helpful and attentive the staff has always been. Whether there was a small issue with the room or we needed assistance with something else, the team was always supportive and solution oriented. Even when the hotel parking garage was full, the staff kindly guided us and informed us where we could safely leave our car nearby. Of course, like every hotel, there are always a few small points here and there that could be improved, especially in some of the rooms. However, overall, the price performance ratio is unbeatable for Fes. What matters most to me personally is the human side of hospitality. Every time we return, we are recognized by the staff, welcomed warmly, and treated with courtesy and care. That level of consistency and kindness is something we truly value. For this upcoming week, we booked two hotel rooms because we will be bringing my parents with us to Fes for the first time. We will be staying at the hotel over the next few days, and I am very curious to see how everything will be this month, especially because May 2026 is considered a very important period for the hospitality industry in Morocco, with mystery visits and increased quality controls taking place. Nevertheless, I would like to say that overall we have always had a very positive experience at the hotel, and I am genuinely looking forward to the upcoming days. I am also curious to see what changes and improvements have been made since our last visit. Thank you to the entire team for your hospitality and continuous efforts.”
