“Breakfast and dinner are bad, low number of options, food is somehow limited at the open buffet and the quality is under-average. No water at the table, you have to buy it, even if you have breakfast and dinner prepaid.”
“Location of the hotel is good in the centre of New Fes. Rooms are comfortable. When it comes to breakfast I can say only...please, people are you serious? 3 big mountains of bread, 5 olives, 3 slices of pepperoni, and cooked eggs. One girl is walking around the dinning room and thinks that if she smile at you she did her job good enough. No vegetables, nothing. I mean even if you do not want to offer nothing else you can make eggs in few different ways. If you need a decent breakfast go and book hotel Barcelo few steps away and you will be good. Room cleaning is poor and bad. Girl is walking all day on one floor from room to room, obviously doing nothing. She will leave your bathroom uncleaned possibly even with old towels from previous guests. I am traveling a lot around and I think for this money they should offer better service...at least standards of 2014 should be met - probably not until someone will come and build new hotel in front of their eyes and they will wake up. Oh...Wi-Fi is in the lobby only (sad enough) but they will want you to pay them 5 eur per day to use it (yes in the lobby only). Of course you will not get no invoice for this service so you can imagine what this business is all about. Enjoy.”
“The hotel is relatively good, but nothing special. The most annoying thing is that wifi is only available at the reception desk, and quite limited / if 20 people are connected, one has to wait for other to disconnect to be able to connect /. The dinner menu at the restaurant is pretty poor and the only dessert is 2 types of fruit and nothing else. Otherwise, the rooms were clean and the beds comfortable.”
“1. The toilet did not work 2. Loud music all night long 3. WiFi did not work neither in the rooms or the cafeteria 4. They told us we would have a buffet in the morning but it was just a plate with a couple of pastries, clearly not enough to fill us up. The service there was nice, though. 5. They demanded us to pay a price four times more expensive than we agreed 6. Really disappointed with the reception”
“Dreadful stay bad management no one speaks english here! Cant communicate and rude if you cant speak their language. I have been morocco x3 in past 3 years but first time in Fez Wassim Hotel (and the last time to this hotel). ||Bar service is bad. Me and my group of friends went to the bar area to order tea and so was given a menu for hot drinks, 2 mins later the bar man came to tell us the bar is now closed he then started to turn the lights off and took the menu off us!! He did not speak any english and muttered something as he took the menu away. Anyway to add to that the front desk staff were not helpful they turned the lobby lights off whilst we were sitting there. Room service us poor and food is awful. Please don't waste your money here. There isn't anything to do outside no excursions or nice places to visit. This part of the country is asleep all day all night. WHAT A WASTE OF TRIP”
“Abysmal hotel with no facilities, and the fact that they don't even have WiFi at this day and age is hilarious. We had booked the hotel for two days and ended up checking out the next morning. The rooms were not clean and there was barely any lighting in the lobby and hallway. We went to the Disco downstairs and there was no one else on a Saturday night. Just avoid!”
