“Pros: Clean rooms. Modern. Affordable. Great view from rooftop. Staff are polite and professional. Safe: room key required to use elevator (not sure about stairwell) Cons: Although they were very polite and professional, the staff haven’t been very helpful. They weren’t able to recommend restaurants. There’s a strange metal detector when you enter the hotel. I’m not sure it’s point since there’s a security guard standing there and the detector is always triggered….its strange. After we arrived (in less than one hour of checking in) we inquired about shortening our stay. The check-in clerk was very polite, and spoke with the desk manager, who then spoke with some other person working at the bar. Ultimately they communicated they couldn’t do anything for us (I got the sense it was just too much of a hassle for them to try and figure out how to do a refund). This was fine with us and partly our fault that travel plans suddenly changed. The restaurant/bar menu isn’t very clear and when we went up the top floor restaurant for dinner, it wasn’t staffed.”
“Newer hotel, good intro to Morocco. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel is on a main road in a central location. Rooms were clean and decent, bed was comfy, coach was pretty firm for my liking. AC functioned well but was either not cooling or cooling a lot. Balcony door was broken and didn't secure properly, but I never went out there, so I just kept it shut as best I can. Breakfast was good but quite pricey for what they offered. Fridge was available but stocked with their drinks at high prices as well, so get your own beverages at a local store instead. Overall a good stay.”
“My stay at Exe Casablanca was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, comfortable, and perfectly located, with everything conveniently close by including shops, restaurants, and local attractions, making it incredibly easy to get around and enjoy the area. What truly made the experience exceptional, however, was the outstanding level of service from the staff. Every member of the team was welcoming, professional, and always willing to go above and beyond to ensure guests felt comfortable and well looked after. A special mention must go to Hiba, who was truly exceptional in her standard of service. Her kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made a lasting impression and elevated the entire experience. She consistently went the extra mile with a warm and genuine attitude that made me feel valued throughout our stay. I would highly recommend Exe Casablanca to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and welcoming place to stay. I look forward to returning in the future.”
“I was a bit nervous after reading some reviews, but honestly, I had a lovely time at the Exe Casablanca. The staff was nice, the rooms were great and the location is close to the beach (perfect for me). It was also reasonably priced. If you’re a light sleeper, then definitely ask for a room at the back away from the main road (this is because of motorcycles racing at night). I was originally at the front but asked to move during the night, and this was sorted very easily for me. I would definitely stay again. There’s also some great views from the terrace and cafe on the top floor.”
“Our stay at the hotel was good overall. When we arrived, there had been a mix-up with our booking, but the staff handled it very graciously and upgraded us to a larger room with a nicer view. The room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and we really liked the quality of the toiletries provided. The small gym was a welcome bonus, even if the range of equipment was limited. The hotel’s location worked really well for visiting Casablanca — within walking distance of the Hassan II Mosque (just be sure to head to the museum entrance, as that’s the only public access point). Everything else in the city was easily reachable by taxi, and we were pleasantly surprised by how honest and straightforward Casablanca taxi drivers were compared with elsewhere in Morocco — they almost always used the meter without any fuss. Despite being right on a busy road, we never heard traffic noise inside; the soundproofing was excellent, and it was easy to flag down a taxi at any hour. A few odd details stood out: during our entire stay we mostly saw hotel staff and almost never any other guests, which gave the place an oddly quiet atmosphere. Only one of the elevators was properly functioning, and the broken one wasn’t labelled as such — the first time we used it, all the lights went out after we pressed a button, which was a bit alarming. The rooftop bar, which does have a great view, was also technically open, but there was never anyone working there. We ended up bringing our own drinks and snacks up, which the staff didn’t seem to mind. We didn’t take breakfast at the hotel — €15 per person felt high compared with nearby cafés and bakeries — but overall, we found it a comfortable and convenient base. It probably suits business travellers best, yet for us it still made for a good stay.”
“Lovely hotel near the water in Casablanca. I can recommend the hotels Hamam. Nazlah does a great relaxation massage and hamam.”
