“We don't think we've ever stayed in a more spectacular accommodation and photographed every corner as in DarDalila! A typical Moroccan house, renovated with such care, using local materials and traditional artisans from the Fes region. And all of this is seen both in the details but also in the warmth and pride with which Geoffrey, the owner, speaks and radiates when guests are amazed by what they see and find when they step through the entrance. The delicious breakfast served in the living room, with the small artesian fountain whispering and relaxing music in the background, is a memory that will always remain in our minds. The wifi signal was very good, the room was also spectacular, the sheets were very clean and the towels were always changed when needed, thanks to Mourad who takes care of everything beeing in order. Geoffrey gave us valuable information about what to visit in the medina and helped us with a Maps.me app to navigate the maze of streets much better. The accommodation is very easy to find, near the BabZiat gate, with a few good restaurants nearby and a max of 10-15 min from the center of the Medina. The period in which we were accommodated was a cold one, especially at night and we had the unpleasant experience that the air conditioning was turned off at night from the general source, we don't know exactly for what reason, probably to protect the electrical installation or consumption. But on the last night we found understanding with our host and we didn't suffer from the cold anymore. We will definitely not forget this accommodation, we feel so lucky for the choice we made!”

“What an exquisite experience it was. And all thanks to the hosts — Geoffroy and Mourad, who love and treat this Dar as their home and invite you to be a guest. You don’t feel as a customer here but as a guest! The rooms are fantastic and look like a museum part you are not allowed into but Geoffroy insists that all of this artisanal beauty is not just to exhibit but to experience it. The restoration work is phenomenal! Moroccan breakfasts with special cakes on a terrace while having a conversation is something! When we checked in Geoffroy offered us to create a city tour using maps.me (download this app in advance, you will need it) and it was fantastic. We had to leave earlier before the breakfast is served and Geoffroy packed us breakfast to go what was very attentive and sweet and just out of this world! The location of the Dar is very convenient as for exploring Fez’ Medina and as for going to the station. I’m yet to process all the love and hospitality and inspiration I’ve received and will definitely be back!”

Not only is he deeply knowledgeable about Fes—its culture, history, and people—but he also takes the time to sit down with guests and share invaluable travel tips. His riad is beautifully decorated, with every detail reflecting the care and thought he has poured into it. Staying there felt like being in a royal palace. Breakfast on the rooftop was magical, offering views of the city and a serene atmosphere.
