“We had a warm welcome to this riad when we first arrived to a lovely mint tea. You can feel the antiquity in every well cared for original tile and textile. We found the bed hard but the room had more space than other riads we’ve stayed in. The in house staff was super helpful for everything from finding a laundry drop off to booking a tour (thought the tour guide wasnt anything special). The breakfast on the roof were lovely and we even had a dinner there. The main Medina is about 15 min away from here and that was nice to get steps in and be in a more peaceful part of town.”

“I will always stay here when I come to Fes- this riad is an absolute gem. The hospitality is from the old-world; these people genuinely care about the wellbeing of their guests, and are extremely kind and humble. It feels like you are visiting family. The design has old-world charm as well; the attention to detail, the tiles, the bedding, the dark polished wood throughout, the handwoven carpets displayed everywhere- the pottery… there is an incredible value, when you think about how much of an investment was made to design this charming little riad. And finally the location- it is absolutely perfect. It may look like it’s too much on the outskirts of the Medina to be good, but actually it’s in a very safe and peaceful neighborhood, which for me was a necessary contrast to the dense labyrinthine mass of the center of the Medina. The neighbors are all gentle, there were no traces of fake guides (which are a huge nuisance elsewhere), and there is car access just two minutes away, which is a real Medina luxury. I booked randomly because of the free breakfast, and I am delighted to have discovered this unique, precious place.”

Beautifully decorated. We ended up staying an extra night just because we enjoyed our stay so much. I highly recommend having dinner here. The food was the best we had in our 2 week stay in Morocco. This is definitely THE place to stay in Fès!”
