“Awesome hostel, it was really cheap compared to other riads. They have a nice terrace with a great view over the city. It was clean and the staff was really helpful and friendly. I can also highly recommend the tour guide, which is cooperating with the hostel.”

“I had an amazing stay at Funky Fes Hostel! The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my visit. The building itself feels royal, with its high ceilings and beautiful architecture, which really added to the experience. The breakfast was tasty, and everything is offered at a very affordable price. The rooms were clean and well-equipped, and the bathrooms were spacious and well-maintained. I appreciated the lockers, though make sure to bring your own padlock. One downside is that the kitchen is unfortunately not available for guests. But since you’re in Morocco, it’s a perfect excuse to eat out and try the delicious street food! Also, I found it a bit closer to Bab Jdid than Bab Rcif if you’re heading out for a walk. Overall, it’s a great place to stay in Fes!”

“No heating in the winter. The building is so cold that you cannot comfortably stay inside. So working not possible. Most rooms are lacking basic comfort like lockable storage, personal storage, hooks for hanging your jacket. Location is good though, at the outskirts of the medina.”

“We really enjoyed our stay! It is really cheap, so of course it is no luxurious hostel, but we felt very welcome and there was plenty of space to relax. We booked dinner one time and it was very good. Everything was clean and the rooftop is amazing!”

“The hostel has a very decent price and is well located. Has a nice terrace. Rooms are clean but could use some renovation. A good atmosphere but it is mostly fit for younger travelers. The only issue I had was finding the hostel (by bike)”

“Great spot, good price for what you get, hot showers. Clean nice rooftop. And good location close enough to the Medina without being in the Medina. You don't want to stay in the Medina as you will get lost coming back at night. Loses 1 star because: First night bed was very comfortable second night I switched rooms and the bed felt like I was sleeping on stacked cardboard. Breakfast wasn't great but free so can't complain Would stay again”
