“Our family stayed at this riad for 3 nights in a very large family suite with a living room and access to the terrace. Our time in Fes was lovely. The riad is located in the medina but conveniently close to an area that is accessible by car. The manager, Said, is very welcoming and arranged tour guides for us. We dined in the riad in the evening and the dinner was fantastic. We definitely recommend for an authentic and great value stay in Fes.”

“Staying at this riad was all we needed. I had stayed here 10years ago with frienda and decided this year to come back with my family. We stayed at the upstairs suite with a private indoors terrace. Very spacious and comfortable - extremely well prepared by khadija and kawtar. Samira was our angel at the hammam, who took care of our bodies (and soul to be honest). We also had a very intimate cooking class with her and the kitchen staff - the food was amazing and it was a great experience for our 4 year old. Touria at recepcion made sure we had everything we needed and served us amazing breakfast. Thank you all!!”

From the moment we booked, the hospitality was evident—our host, Samir, reached out via WhatsApp to offer assistance with transportation, guide services for exploring the old Medina, and even the option of a freshly prepared dinner upon arrival. As strict vegetarians, we often face challenges finding meals that cater to our dietary needs, but Samir and his team went above and beyond to create an unforgettable dining experience. The meal they prepared for us was, without a doubt, the best we had during our two-week trip through Morocco—so much so that we opted to dine at the riad again on our second night. Every ingredient was sourced fresh from the market that day, and the attention to detail in both flavor and presentation was outstanding. Upon arrival, Samir personally met us outside to assist with our luggage and welcomed us into the riad with traditional Moroccan mint tea. He took the time to help us plan our time in Fes, ensuring we made the most of our visit. After settling in, my friend indulged in a traditional Hammam and massage at the riad and highly recommends the experience. It was the perfect way to unwind after a day of travel and set the tone for a relaxing stay. We stayed in the Serial Suite, which was both stunning and comfortable. The traditional Moroccan decor, soaring ceilings, and private terrace created an atmosphere of elegance and relaxation. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was excellent, and while the room did not have a refrigerator, Samir kindly offered to store our drinks in the kitchen and provide ice whenever needed. The riad also features a beautiful rooftop lounge where guests can unwind. Wine is available for purchase by the bottle, and a Carrefour nearby offers additional beverage options if you would like some beer. On our departure day, we needed an early 7 AM transfer to the airport to pick up a rental car for our journey to Merzouga. Samir seamlessly arranged a spacious van for us, ensuring we had plenty of room for our luggage. Not only did he personally carry our bags out to the taxi, but his warm farewell made us feel truly valued as guests. The level of hospitality, comfort, and personalized service at Riad Fes Baraka is unparalleled. If you’re visiting Fes, staying here is a must!
