“The Riad is inside of the old Medina but close enough to a street so that drop-off with a taxi is easy and suitcases do not have to be transported very far by foot. Our room was spacious and nicely decorated. There was a rooftop withe lounge chairs and a nice view. However, the most special feature of the Riad was the host Moufid. He was going out of his way to make our stay as pleasant, enjoyable and comfortable as possible. He recommended a very knowledgable tour guide and excellent restaurants and was always reachable by text with any questions. But most of all he shared a lot of tips for how to have the best experience. It pays off to follow his advice! We would go back anytime and highly recommend it.”

“I dont know where to begin. Moufid is so amazing, so knowledgeable and so good. Explained all about the area sets up tours breakfast. His soup and mint tea is AMAZING. No one can beat it.his place is beautiful. Its cold in fez so come prepared for the place. The place is easy to find and great location in the old city which is beautiful 😍. Ask him any questions he is very good. He can set up tours for everywhere.”

“First and foremost Moufid, our English speaking host of this Riad deserves a big compliment. Not only did he make us feel welcome and gave us a small introduction of the riad and a few simple instructions to navigate the maze of the little streets in Fez, he went above and beyond to make the guests feel at home. From talking with the taxi from the train station to the riad, to the arrangement of the excellent local guide Mohamed, Moufid made sure we would have a positive experience in Fez. Besides all those things, at our arrival late in the evening he personally guided us to a place for a quick locally priced meal and did this more then once! Now about the accommodation: This Riad is within walking distance of the food section of the medina and close to the restored section by UNESCO. We had one of the big rooms on the ground floor and pleasantly surprised by it's size! I can imagine that in the high season it might be a little more noisy but lucky for us there were only a couple more guests in the other big room. Breakfast is local and the selection of fresh bread was lovely, starting your day with fresh food, a chirping birdie some Moroccan music and a fountain in the background is a good way to start any day.”

“I'm genuinely surprised that this place received any negative ratings because my experience was flawless. The host was incredibly kind, friendly and very responsive. The room was superb, he even upgraded me to a better room at no extra cost. The pool is absolutely a fantastic plus in the structure. My children really loved it. I was absolutely satisfied for my stay and I am already planning to return next spring, because unfortunately I booked only just one night. The room has no external window ( I think due terrain structure) but has internal window that gives you enough light and air.”
