“Amazing food! The slow-cooked lamb tagine was incredible, and I really enjoyed the prix-fixe experience (with nice appetizers and dessert). It’s a bit pricier than most neighborhood restaurants, but feels very fair because the food quality and the beautiful setting are way better than other cheaper, more touristic places I’ve been to. Karima and her team are super nice and will even help you navigate the alleys to find the place since it's a bit hidden. Overall an amazing experience, best meal I’ve had in Morocco!”
“Delicious meal tonight on our first evening in Fes. Our meal was served family style and we were able to sample so many delightful dishes and authentic flavors. Our host made us feel warmly welcomed. If you are in Fes we highly recommend this restaurant! The chicken pastilla will having us wanting to return to Morroc. All homemade including the cookie plate and icecream desserts. Thank you again
“The owners there are amazing hosts and very welcoming. The food was delicious and in our opinion the best food in Morocco. Highly recommend”
“Digby is back for the second time, an unexpected short trip to Chefchaouen and Fez. The price is higher than average, but the food is good and service is superwarm and friendly. The tagine is a bit dry but beautiful moroccan salad set and pastilla. This time we also got picked up and guided-walk to the resto, saving the getting lost in the medina. The to-die-for cassata is unfortunately no more, replaced by good ice cream and generous serving of cookies...”
“True story - this was easily my favourite meal in Fes! This was our friends’ recommendation, a bit challenging to find - but easy solution is to call them, they’ll pick you up in case you need help They have a few set meal selections, we had lamb tajin which was 100000000% theee besssst! and the owner’s specialty was was toooooop chicken pastilla Or go with an open heart and try anything else, i have a feeling everything they serve is going to be amazing Karima, hope I remember the owner’s name correctly- has the warmest smile and welcome. Everything just gives😍 Oh and bonus is, they were just informed by Tripvisor that they ranked Top10 best restaurant all over the world.. way to go!!! Thanks for welcoming us to your Dar, Karima 🥰”
“Best food we had while in Morroco. The service was excellent and the dining room decor looks brilliant. Recommend the Pastilla and the Lamb Tagine. We chose this restaurant as it was the closest to our Riad but they do offer a guide to walk you there and back. It can be hard to find so I have attached two pictures, find the blue door near the main path and it’s at the end of the lane. Whatever you do ignore the people outside as they will send you away from this delightful restaurant.”
