“Me, my husband and two teenage children had a wonderful meal last night. The tagines we had were very tasty. We'd booked a table in advance but chose to sit outside. The service was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. The host was lovely to chat to and she recommended certain dishes and drinks which we really enjoyed. Just a short walk from Covent Garden, great for people watching while we sat outside. Go, you won't regret it.”
“We were here today for early dinner while on a trip to London. We started with an amazing mocktail, strawberry mojito, so refreshing on a hot day. The food was delicious and authentic (I’m Moroccan). I had starters seafood Briouat and merguez, they were both fantastic and just like in Morocco , and for our main dishes we had lamb cous cous and vegetarian cous cous, both excellent and reminded me of home-cooked cous cous back home. Great service, friendly staff, and everything feels very authentic. 5 stars.
“A wonderful Moroccan restaurant with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The décor felt authentic, with beautiful patterns and soft lighting. The food was rich in flavor, especially the tagine and freshly baked bread. Every dish was perfectly spiced and cooked with care. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. Service was smooth and not rushed at all. The mint tea at the end was a lovely touch. Portions were generous and great value for money. Perfect place for both casual dining and special occasions. I would definitely visit again and highly recommend it.”
“My friend and I booked this restaurant on The Fork and managed to get 50% discount on there, which was generous because the prices are amazing for a start without! I got the mango smoothie which I engulfed straight away. My friend got the lamb tagine and myself the lamb chops both were high quality ingredients and we both enjoyed, topped off with phenomenal service! Thank you so much for having us!”
“We went for dinner today with few of our friends and we had booked via The Fork. I think the issue was that perhaps we were expecting much better, my partner & me were honestly really disappointed in the starters/small plates, which is what we normally eat/look forward to..except for the Zaalouk (Aubergine) and partly the Falafel (our friends seemed to not mind them as much though, so it could just be a subjective thing ..not sure). But i did like my main - merguez sausages with the fries was very good..and the Baklava was nice too. We do wish the team the very best ofcourse, we were well taken care of.”
“AVOID at all costs. Poor food, chaotic organisation, and disrespectful service. We came for iftar during Ramadan, expecting at minimum dates, water, and organized service after a full day of fasting. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. We arrived at 5:15pm and were given 3 dates for 2 people, with no water served. Service was extremely disorganized - a few tables received food while many others, including us, sat waiting with nothing to break their fast. While we were waiting, multiple customers who had confirmed reservations were denied tables. Instead of apologizing or handling the situation professionally, the manager replied dryly “no tables, there’s nothing we can do” and rushed back to the kitchen, leaving guests standing at the entrance. Staff (especially one very disrespectful waitress) then began arguing loudly with customers rather than taking responsibility or calming the situation. The whole restaurant felt chaotic and uncomfortable. We waited over 1 hour for food (after fasting the whole day). When it finally arrived, the briwat were incorrect. The couscous was bland and poorly prepared - plain semolina, almost no vegetables, undercooked chicken, and no seasoning whatsoever. When I was asked and politely gave feedback, the waitress dismissed it and insisted their food was “the best”. I asked for salt and harissa just to make the meal somewhat edible and was given something closer to sriracha/ketchup which did not help. I still ate it as I was starving at that point. The problems continued at payment: • Card machines repeatedly failed despite trying 4 different cards • Staff blamed us for the issue even though they admitted in the beginning their connection was bad • My taxi was waiting outside while they argued internally • After they adjusted something themselves, the payment suddenly worked (no apology, nothing!) When I requested a receipt (given how disorganized everything was), it was thrown at me, and the door was shut in my face. I would strongly recommend avoiding this place.”
