“I am writing this review for the room we stayed perhaps the other rooms may be better. We had a room given in ground floor for 3 people booking. I will start with the positives - The riad is very near to the main square but if you come first time you may struggle finding it in the main square so check the nearest landmark to find it easily. The staff in the reception are very warm and welcoming and helpful specially Azzuddin and Hamza. Special thanks to Azzuddin for being so polite and engaging. There is a nearest pick up point (hotel tazi) if you have booked any activities as cars cannot come to this hotel. The breakfast is basic but enough and the reception staff takes care to make sure you get it even if you are leaving early. The room AC works. For all these reasons I have given a extra star. Now with the negatives - The room we stayed had always had a weird bathroom smell and the floor was horrible like on road. The shower pressure is so low that will extend your shower time to 30 mins and the water is either very hot or very cold. The riad is 30 years old but looks like 100 years. There is no proper mirror to get ready, it's somewhere top of bed. Overall if you are booking just for Bed & breakfast then this works and if you can't bear smell then find alternative.”
“Arriving in the chaos of Marrakesh, I was met from the taxi by the amazing man Azz-eddin, who guided me to the hotel. He was a absolutely brilliant at welcoming me and putting me at ease. We even wattsapped through my time in Morocco. The hotel is beautiful in decor and peaceful, set literally 2 mins walk from Jemaa el-Fna. Really good breakfast on the roof terrace and all very clean. I was also grateful to Mo for waking up early to make me breakfast. Thanks guys!”
“I've been in these Riad for 5 days and I can tell that it's the best. The rooms are clean, the location is perfect, very good breakfast and super cool staff. I would repeat every time I go to Marrakech, I'm sure that there's nothing better. Also thanks to Azzedine, he's the perfect host, he can friendly tell you what you can do in the city, he will help you with any problem that you have in the hotel and teach you some Arabic words.”
“Stayed here for 7 days. The location is extremely good, right next to the busy streets, a short distance from bazaars, food stalls, the Koutobia, the Palais and the main square. Staff is very friendly, smiles when you meet and greet you nicely. Despite the location, there wasn't too much noise which is a positive. Some complain about the smell of smoke in hotels in Marrakech; I did not have this problem more than on one single occasion. The rooms are small, but good enough. They are clean and comfortable to stay in. In our room there was no fridge or microwave. The shower would change temperature fairly slowly, but it was more than usable. Breakfast is for 2 hours, and the pancakes and jam were tasty.”
“We stayed a week here and were very impressed for the price (around 200dh per night). The staff were all absolutely wonderful and ensured we were totally comfortable throughout. All the sleep-in reception staff spoke English and French graciously, while the housekeeping staff, who tended to seem to speak only Arabic, were also lovely and kind.”
“Absolutely great little hotel! Most importantly in Marrakesh heat the rooms have AIR CON 😁 . Has door service 24/7 so you're always greeted when you come in and out, even though it is right in the middle of the market Street it's very quiet in the room you don't hear much traffic/people. The gentleman on the door was so lovely always greeted us the breakfast was great and we were even given tea on the terrace in the evening. The rooms are small as in they're only beds and a bathroom but there is seating available on the terrace upstairs and little seating areas on each floor. There is also a little nook with a few books perfect little corner for reading in. It was perfect for us as a family of 4, everything was clean and fresh. The Jemaa el-Fnaa Square (famous Marrakesh market) is practically on the doorstep. Also the prices for the room were very very good considering the location and holiday season can't praise this little hotel enough ☺️”
