“I really loved the pools! Two separate pools. The larger one is shaded and better suited for swimming. The style of decor is a bit more traditional and a bit outdated. However, the air conditioning worked. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very kind and friendly and addressed any concerns that I had. The breakfast buffet was ok. As someone who is gluten free I could eat a few things such as eggs and yogurt and potatoes. I would say the food left a little bit to be desired. However, overall it was a positive experience and would stay here again!”
“Stayed here twice. First room had a great balcony. The floors were dirty and felt unkept from our first step onto them. Second room felt clean. Location wise this worked for us. We were bussed in/out daily. We did visit during Ramadan, I believe this pushed dinner a little later and was totally ok with that. They feed some of the locals/staff a free meal to break the fast. I did like this about this hotel. As far as the rooms go I have a few comments. The toilet was a bit of an issue, sitting at about a 45 degree angle from the wall made it impossible to actually sit on squarely. Compound that with a poorly secured seat... That's trouble. The second room toilet was much better in its own room but, the loose seat phenomenon was still there. The shower like many others reported went hot to cold without reason. This was not very pleasant.”
“We were with a tour group and it was a major upgrade from the previous hotels that we were put up in. The room was large and clean. Toilet was in a separate room from the bathtub and sink but not a big deal. Between the 2 buildings there were 2 pools and enough space for people to gather and relax outdoors. The 2 elevators were quite small, 2 people and 2 luggages. Breakfast and dinner were ok. Lots of eateries were nearby. Carrefour supermarket was about 10 minutes walk. Not quite a 4-star hotel.”
“Potentially a fine hotel. Huge common amenities. 2 outdoor pools. 2 restos. Large rooms BUT. |Our a/c broke down on the first night - to their credit they moved us to a new room ||New room - 1 inch gap on between wall and sliding door on the fixed side of balcony letting in air 7/24. Continuous leak in toilet into bowl. Toilet door screeched like a banshee when it was opened or closed. Closet door did not close and hung open |All these were reported but only the balcony fixed. ||Add to that….light too poor to read anywhere apart from the bathroom. No fans working in toilet or bathroom. No power plug in bathroom or near desk. | Balcony covered in water from leak in a/c unit. Noisy a/c unit. ||I think 3* is generous. ||PS Huge number of 5* reviews by 1 time reviewers who seem to know a great deal about the hotel management”
“Why I give only 3 star's? Because most of the AC in the room's they are not working. To stay in the room in the without AC for heating a little bit, is very cold. After the shower, you need to jump in bed. The reception, the manager, the restaurant, all the stuff was very friendly and helpful. I so that they start some renovation in the hotel, but the fact that they are renovation is not a reason that the AC to nor work in the room's.”
“I recently stayed at Hotel Meriem Marrakech and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel is clean and well-maintained. Upon arrival, I was given a warm Moroccan welcome; the staff invited me to sit in the lobby and served me traditional Moroccan tea and sweets while they processed my check-in. It was a very nice gesture. However, the experience was slightly dampened when the staff member handling my check-in left her desk for another matter. After waiting for 10 minutes, I had to approach her to request that the process be completed so I could finally access my room. The breakfast is good, offering a reasonable variety that meets the expectations of a 4-star hotel. Additionally, the entire staff at the hotel was consistently kind and professional throughout my stay. Generally recommended for those looking for a clean stay with friendly service in Marrakech.”
