“Good location with short walk to restaurants or 5 min taxi to the square. Very helpful reception staff and accommodating. The room was a spacious triple. Beds were comfy but some of the pillows really overstuffed so not so comfortable. There were toiletries in the bathroom but no hair dryer, kettle or iron. Staff were very helpful in providing hit water to make our own cups of coffee when the restaurant was closed. Would visit again.”
“Nothing special, but clean and ok, and conveniently a half block from the train station - arrived from Casablanca. The desk staff was fluent in English (and probably French) and quite helpful. You can walk 25 minutes to the Medina or take a bus or taxi.”
“It’s a decent hotel to stay for a short period nothing fancy, room doesn’t have have anything mostly just a bed which is also not that great !!”
“Very disappointing experience, not as advertised Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing and did not match the photos shown online at all. The property was not clean, and the overall maintenance level appeared to be nonexistent. Upon arrival, there was no welcoming staff and no assistance with luggage, which set a poor first impression. The room itself had a very strong unpleasant smell, and there was visible mold. The level of cleanliness was unacceptable and, more importantly, concerning for health, especially for guests with asthma or allergies. We had originally booked four nights, but we could not even stay for a few hours due to the conditions. Two members of our family have allergies, so staying was not an option. We requested a cancellation and refund for the remaining nights. Later that evening, the receptionist confirmed that our request was accepted, including a refund and return of the city tax. We received the same confirmation again at checkout. However, despite these assurances, no refund was processed. We feel misled and extremely frustrated by the lack of honesty and professionalism. This experience unfortunately affected our entire Marrakech trip in a very negative way.”
“Stayed here for one night after a long flight into the city. The location in the new city was convenient for my tour the next day, but it’s worth noting you’ll need a taxi to get to the old city where you’ll likely spend most of your time. The staff were warm and welcoming on check-in, which was a great start. Unfortunately, the room didn’t live up to expectations and looked quite dated compared to the photos online. The shower didn’t work properly and leaked from the taps, the pillows were very uncomfortable, and the bed had visible stains. There was also a noticeable smell of cigarette smoke in the hallway. WiFi worked but was inconsistent, and the included breakfast was disappointing—just one fried egg and coffee, despite other options being listed on the menu. Overall, while the staff were lovely, the experience didn’t match the price, and there are better value options available.”
“Just come back after staying at this hotel for a week and first time staying here I was in shock to say it’s in the best location ever the hotel needs a lot of working doing to it, the pictures are a lie on the website. Rooms - no fridge as my mum needed it for her meds but had to share the one downstairs, bathroom was fine there cleaned it on a daily basic but the room itself was cleaned once and didn’t change the bedding which had stains on them just tidy the room, One chair which had a big stain. Breakfast - was the worse ever breakfast I had you have a set breakfast everyday it’s the same thing everyday, your waiting for ages for our turn one man running around who doesnt understand anything and is always mad, if you can’t eat bread then you will be starving all week, tea was disgusting I gave up on the morning breakfasting and I didn’t bother having it which is a shame because I’ve paid for breakfast and ended up buying my own food. I don’t normally leave a review but I had to because the hotel needs sorting out and needs doing up and change the pictures on the website. Would I stay here again no I wouldn’t.”
