“We recently booked a 3-night stay at Rose Aqua Park and overall had a mixed but memorable experience. The location isn’t too bad — it’s roughly a £5 taxi ride to the Medina, or about a 40-minute walk if you fancy stretching your legs. It felt convenient enough without being right in the middle of the hustle and bustle. The all-inclusive food and drinks were fairly basic, with a limited choice available. There was enough to get by, but it didn’t offer a huge amount of variety, especially over a three-night stay. One of the real highlights of the hotel was the Spa. It was excellent — so much so that we visited twice during our stay. Definitely worth experiencing if you’re staying there. However, the absolute jewel of this hotel was Hicham, one of the concierge team. He was amazing and truly went above and beyond to help us when my wife fell ill. His kindness, professionalism, and willingness to assist made a difficult situation much easier for us. He is a real credit to the hotel and made a lasting impression on our trip. Overall, while there are areas that could be improved, the exceptional service — especially from Hicham — and the fantastic spa experience stood out the most.”
“This hotel is suffering from a complete breakdown of basic service, hygiene, and safety. Here are the exact facts from our recent stay: 1. Disgusting and Hazardous Pools The pools are filthy. Within a single hour, we found 4 plastic cups just sitting on the bottom of the pool along with other accumulated dirt. The pool filters are visibly green with slime/dirt, meaning they are not being cleaned or treated. There are broken tiles inside the pool and peeling paint everywhere, posing a physical cut hazard for children. 2. Severe Maintenance Neglect & Room Issues Electrical Hazard: We reported water actively dripping from an electrical light fixture in our bathroom. Reception acknowledged it and promised maintenance, but nobody ever came. Flooding & Broken Fixtures: The toilet seat was broken upon arrival. Furthermore, the shower constantly floods the entire bathroom floor no matter how careful you are. Lifts are frequently out of order, and we witnessed guests getting trapped inside them. 3. Shocking Staff Behavior and Malicious Retaliation Targeting a Child: When the chef was asked to cook plain noodles for our 3-year-old son, he refused until the restaurant manager forced him to. Out of spite, the chef deliberately put hot chilies into a toddler's food. This is malicious and unacceptable. Rude & Careless Service: The restaurant staff are incredibly rude. We asked them to fridge a birthday cake overnight, and it took them over an hour just to locate it the next day. Housekeeping Neglect: We actually witnessed the cleaning staff relaxing on the sofas inside guest rooms for an hour instead of cleaning. 4. Subpar Amenities The evening entertainment is boring and lacks any proper, professional shows. Management is entirely in denial about the state of this property and the behavior of their staff.”
“The staff were few that could speak english and the heater was only on at nightThe food was poor as there are no varieties to choose from even the fruit juice was only orange”
“First time visit to Marrakesh and we wasn’t disappointed, don’t listen to the bad moaning reviews we was treated the same as the French and other guests. This hotel is convenient for visiting all the attractions Marrakesh has to offer. The animation team is undoubtedly what set this hotel apart from the rest they never stop and they make everyone feel welcome and involved Younes is so funny and entertaining he really made our stay a laugh a minute. And a special shout out to the lovely Bahija in the restaurant such a lovely caring lady who couldn’t do enough for us. Would we return….. absolutely”
“Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The photos shown online are absolutely nothing like the reality. We paid $130 per room per night, and because we are a family of five (two adults and three children), we had to book two rooms, costing us $260 per night for four nights. For the amount we paid, this experience was completely unacceptable. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was the water park, but on our first day it wasn't even operating. The swimming pools were dirty, the rooms were not properly cleaned, and the bathrooms were in very poor condition. The overall cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel were far below any acceptable standard. To make things even worse, the Wi-Fi did not work for two full days, causing a lot of inconvenience during our stay. This hotel is very misleading. The pictures advertised online do not reflect the actual condition of the property. We feel that we paid for a completely different experience than what we received. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst hotel experiences we've ever had, and we would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone unless major improvements are made.”
“A place to chill and relax, family friendly and has entertainment for guests, restaurant staff are friendly and the free drinks everywhere is amazing, has activities doe children too. The spa products are paid for though, gym is free and a supplement for indoor swimming pool. I enjoyed the leg massage and would recommend it.”
