Savoy Le Grand Hotel Marrakech

“Had the worst experience here, should be 0 star, used to stay here regularly over the years. This was my 8th stay here never had an issue with service. This time was horrific went with my family booked 2 room’s which weren’t connecting even though we had asked for it as my children were young. No one answers the calls when you need something keep telling you 5 minutes which ends up taking an hour. Waited 40 minutes just to receive toothbrushes which was wasn’t in the room, i opened the lotion to use but even that was empty. My sink had a crack posing great safety concerns when i told the staff they said they would change it but even that didn’t happen. Had to constantly ask for towels which seem to be very limited. We ordered room service kids were extremely hungry and waited over an hour for it. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, nor would i be staying here again, if your looking for a 5* hotel then spend your money elsewhere because this hotel has drastically dropped its service. Not to forget the breakfast which was included very limited and repetitive, going at 9am is like being in a headless chicken factory no proper service constantly asking for tea, water juice basic food items. They cannot handle the pressure. Atrocious Please do your self a favour and go elsewhere or experience the above and pay the crazy hotel prices, my friends happening to stay at the same time also experienced this too.”

“Wonderful 5 night stay at the Savoy Le Grand to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary. The staff were very friendly and attentive. My brother arranged with the hotel a surprise for us to celebrate our Anniversary and the hotel arranged it and decorated our room to make it feel really special. Convenient location and great facilities. There is building work going on and was concerned after reading reviews but this did not impact on our stay at all. Lovely breakfast with great choices”

“This is a very good hotel—quite large with an extraordinary pool and an excellent breakfast. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, which really enhances the experience. It’s also very convenient to have a mall right next door.Unfortunately, during my stay there was construction work going on. You could hear the noise when you were at the pool or on the terrace, but there was no problem at all inside the room—it was completely quiet. Aside from that minor issue, everything else was perfect. If the construction isn’t an issue during your visit, this hotel is absolutely ideal.”

“Our stay was truly wonderful, and the exceptional service made it even more memorable. Soukayana is one of the best managers we have had the pleasure of meeting. She was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and professional throughout our stay, always ensuring we were comfortable and well taken care of. We would also like to thank our breakfast manager, Kouser, who was outstanding. She was always attentive and went above and beyond to accommodate my husband's gluten-free breakfast requirements with great care and kindness. Overall, the entire staff was amazing—friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The only minor challenge was that I don't speak Arabic well enough to communicate easily with some of the team, but everyone was patient and made every effort to assist us. Thank you all for such a fantastic experience. We look forward to seeing you again soon!”
