“This was my third visit to the gorgeous Dar Baba and its exquisite food. The house itself is stunning and every menu item I have had is delicious. The service and wait staff are professional and kind and attentive. Dar Baba is truly a special experience.”

“This place has very nice vibe. Lamb fish was amazing, catch of the day was good but a bit too dry. Quit a few things from the menu were not available, one of them - octopus - my reason to come. Classic margarita was made with lemon juice and not lime (made quite a bit difference in the taste), was still good.”

“We arrived in Essaoira very late tonight looking for a place that could welcome us. We were happy to find Dar Baba Restaurant . The staff is attentive, kind and polite (Zakaria was looking after our table) and the food is delicious. We took the monkfish tajine, the lamb shoulder and the octopus. My favorite was the octopus, and my least favorite was the tajine. The atmosphere is cozy and curated, with some very stylish details. I loved the Zafferano push up table lamp - will look into it for my home :))) we had a great dinner, thank you!!”

“We came here twice whilst on holiday as it was amazing. We never had a reservation, but they fitted us in. We had tapas the first time, it was all delicious but the chicken & lemon croquettes and the sea bream ceviche were outstanding. The second time we had the ceviche again (it was unreal) to start then squid & prawn paella (which looked, smelt and tasted amazing) and the pan fried sea bass. From arriving both times, the staff were incredibly friendly, the waiting staff were attentive, relaxed and discreet, they injected their personalities into the service which was lovely. The decor was beautiful throughout the whole place. We have recommended to friends who are visiting Essaouira in October.”
